About HomeFresh
HomeFresh is a part-time helper service operating islandwide from its Ang Mo Kio base. It is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 3.9-star Google rating across 9 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional only. Hourly pricing is available on enquiry.
Booking typically begins with confirming your property type (HDB, condo, or landed), the hours needed, and whether you require a one-off clean, a recurring weekly arrangement, a deep clean, or a post-renovation or pre-move-in clean. A minimum of 3 to 4 hours per visit is standard in the Singapore market. It is worth clarifying upfront whether HomeFresh supplies its own equipment and cleaning products or expects the homeowner to provide them. One important legal point: if any helper deployed is a foreign national, she must be sent by a MOM-licensed cleaning company — directly hiring a foreign part-time helper found through social media or messaging groups is illegal under MOM rules and exposes the homeowner, not the worker, to fines of S$5,000–10,000 and a two-year hiring ban. Confirm HomeFresh's licensing position before booking. Singaporean and PR helpers can be engaged directly without these constraints.
To get started, reach out to HomeFresh via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your address, preferred schedule, and scope of work, and ask for a written quote before confirming.
If the helper is foreign, confirm the company's MOM cleaning business licence before booking — the penalty for hiring an unlicensed foreign freelancer lands on you, not them.
Truly live up to its name - Home Fresh Cooked Food. This stall may look simple and not very eye-catching, but don’t be fooled—the food is really good. You can taste that fresh ingredients are used, and the dishes have a comforting, homely flavour that’s very satisfying. The seasoning is just right, not overpowering, and even hours after the meal you don’t feel thirsty, which shows the food isn’t loaded with MSG. Prices are very reasonable—definitely something you won’t easily find at an outside cai fan stall. The couple running the stall are very friendly, and it’s clear they have many regular customers. A must-try in this hawker centre. Will definitely come back to patronise this stall again.
Tasty cai fan that tastes home cooked. Curry vegetables was tasty. Operated by an elderly couple. I'll eat this again. Here's a photo of my half eaten food. Forgot to take photos at the start.
Food was generally good and the friendly old couple was always warm and welcoming. However, prices had gone up a little. I also observed that their cleaner (could be their son) was using the same unwashed cloth to wipe the table, the utensils and everything else.
Really taste like home cooked food, still the same price as another reviewer posted 8 months ago.1 meat, 2 vegetable $3.80. Pls support the old folks, food taste better than many average cai png stores in coffeeshops nearby
Unfriendly hawker who does not keep up with times. Because of dietary restriction, I do not take rice, but for some reason or another, food from here must be purchased with rice. So do I purchase and throw the rice away. It is not that I cannot afford to do so, but I do not want to waste food. If the hawker wants to implement such policies, put it front and center on the stall and not waste anyone's time queuing all the way only to be unclearly/impolitely turned away saying that ingredients will not be sold by themselves.

HomeFresh prices on an hourly basis, which is the norm for part-time helper services in Singapore. Market rates from licensed companies typically run S$18–25 per hour, with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours per visit. One-off deep cleans generally range from S$150–800 depending on property size; post-renovation cleans S$350–1,800; and pre-move-in cleans S$400–2,500. Confirm whether equipment and cleaning supplies are included in the rate or homeowner-provided, and ask whether a fixed quote is available for one-off jobs rather than an open-ended hourly charge. Foreign part-time helpers must be deployed via a MOM-licensed cleaning company — direct hire from Carousell, Facebook, WhatsApp groups, or any other informal channel is illegal under MOM rules. The penalty for the homeowner (not the worker) is a fine of S$5,000–10,000 plus a two-year ban on hiring any domestic helpers. Before booking, ask HomeFresh directly whether they hold a MOM cleaning business licence and request the licence number. Singaporean and PR helpers are not subject to these restrictions and can be engaged directly without a licensed intermediary.
Public liability insurance — with a minimum of S$500,000 cover — is standard among reputable part-time helper companies and protects against accidental damage to your property or belongings during a session. Ask HomeFresh for the policy number and scope of cover in writing before the first visit. Also confirm the substitute policy: if your regular helper is unwell or on leave, a reliable company will send a trained substitute within 24 hours rather than leaving you without cover. Finally, clarify whether HomeFresh assigns the same helper each visit (regular-helper model) or draws from a pool — consistency tends to produce better results and builds household familiarity over time.
