I first came across HomeUp while watching a TikTok video and decided to engage Kenji’s team to list our unit at Dawson. They marketed our unit across all major property portals and also promoted it through TikTok videos, which really helped increase visibility. We received noticeably more viewings and offers compared to our neighbour, who was using a traditional 2% agent and was also selling at the same time. One thing that really stood out was the speed of response. During one viewing, a buyer mentioned how impressed they were. They requested a viewing and managed to secure a slot on the same afternoon. This is very different from the usual process with traditional agents, where coordinating for the viewing requires matching the availability of the buyer’s agent, buyer, and seller, which takes a much longer time to schedule. HomeUp’s approach cuts out the need for constant physical presence from agents, allowing for faster responses and smoother scheduling. More viewings naturally led to more offers, which made a big difference for us. It was also a great experience presenting our own home to buyers. After all, no one knows the house better than the owner living in it. I truly believe this model represents a shift in how resale flats will be marketed in the future. The traditional way of requiring agents to be present for every viewing may soon become outdated. Overall, I’m very happy with the experience and glad to be part of this change.
