This is how insurance companies lose customers — in real time Today, I spent 78 minutes on hold with Integrated Health Plans Pte Ltd (IHP) just to get a basic explanation of medical coverage. Not a dispute. Not a special request. Just clarity. This is the reality: Key diagnostic tests are routinely not covered under the IHP panel, forcing patients into repeated calls and follow-ups Getting through to someone competent takes an unreasonable amount of time — if it happens at all This is not a one-off incident, but a repeated experience Even clinics within the panel are openly complaining about slow responses and poor coordination Let’s call this what it is: This isn’t a service issue — it’s a systemic failure. And the damage doesn’t stop at the administrator. Customers don’t separate insurers from their partners. They experience one brand, one promise, one failure. To insurers operating in Singapore — including Liberty — this kind of partnership quietly destroys trust, retention, and long-term value. Healthcare insurance is meant to protect people at their most vulnerable — not leave them on hold for over an hour. If this is the customer journey, the collaboration needs to be rethought. Because customers will rethink their insurer.

Terrible customer experience. 1) Called IHP on Monday 12/01/2026 regarding an existing claim, was told someone would call me back. No one called. 2) Called IHP on Tuesday 13/01/2026 and spoke to Hema. She promised to call by Friday with an update. No one called. 3) Called IHP on Friday 16/01/2026 and spoke to Hema. She said said she cannot open my case file and only Usha can do so and that Usha will call me back in 15 minutes. No one called. 4) Called IHP again an hour later and was told Usha is on another call and will call me back. No one called. Full of lies and excuses - a week later and not a single update.

Emailed me in July requesting some payment as I've slightly exceeded the measly limit of my teleconsult from April. No problem. Emailed me again in October, same story, for another one of my teleconsults in April. Why do you people take so long to process any claims and why can't all claims be consolidated at once? The worse part is they won't even show you the proofs, date of visit or receipt breakdowns when they request for payments. Seeing the names of those who reply my emails, it's no wonder the work standards are so low. Worked with these kinds before and it's always very inefficient.

Frustrating User Experience – Digital Platforms Need Major Overhaul Issues: 1. Mobile App: The design is poor and makes even simple search functions difficult. The layout is not intuitive, and it feels like minimal effort was put into creating a user experience that allows policyholders to quickly find the information or services they need. 2. Company Website: Finding support information and the claims submission portal on the website is unnecessarily confusing and time-consuming. The site structure and navigation do not prioritize the user, forcing us to hunt for critical features that should be immediately accessible. Suggestion for Improvement: I strongly urge the company to dedicate more effort and resources to redesigning both the app and the website. The new interfaces need to be more user-friendly and pragmatic, using common sense language and intuitive labels that your policyholders (the consumers) can easily understand and navigate. In today's digital age, a smooth, functional user interface isn't a luxury; it's a basic expectation. This poor digital experience significantly detracts from the value of your services. Please fix these issues.

I had one of the worst experiences with this provider. My Letter of Guarantee was rejected with the vague explanation that it *“may be” due to existing conditions. The customer service was extremely unhelpful and the lady Malini in particular was rude and even shouted over the phone instead of trying to assist. This level of service is unacceptable for a company in the insurance/healthcare sector. Insurance companies should reconsider partnering with this provider.
