Families arranging transport support for an elderly parent or family member would typically begin by contacting iKare Home Care MET via phone or the online enquiry form to outline the care situation — including the senior's mobility level, any assistive equipment such as a wheelchair or walking frame, frequency of trips required, and typical destinations such as hospital appointments, day rehabilitation centres, or social visits. It is worth discussing whether transport is needed as a standalone service or as part of a broader care arrangement, and confirming availability for regular scheduled runs versus ad hoc bookings.

My mum has completed almost 2 rounds of sessions with iKare. I really appreciate the genuine and caring support from the team. The cognitive activities, physical exercises and social interaction have been very helpful for my mum ! :)
We recently enrolled my mum into the iKare Spark Dementia Therapy. My mum now finds interacting with big groups of people tiring and has difficulty in carrying out meaningful conversations during such times. However, this is what she has to say about her sessions with her therapist … “I think Andy’s programme is very stimulating and very focused. After each SPARK session, I feel confident, improved and alert. Andy is most interesting during our conversations. I appreciate his 1:1 attention and listening ear, when I reminisce and share my past.” Thank you, Andy, for the personalised Care Plans for her and the Post Sessions Report which offers meaningful feedback after each session.
I have engaged Ikare Spark Program for my mum since January. She is enjoying her 1-1 session with the therapist, Iris twice a week. We are unable to stop dementia but we can try to slow down the process with some cognitive training activities and engagement program. My mum doesn't like to interact with big group of people. This 1-1 session homecare service works well on her. Thank you for the Ikare team who is patient and experienced in selecting the right therapist for my mum, thank you.
I started to engage Ikare services for my elder brother in May 2025 upon his discharged from hospital & community care. My bro suffered from early stage of dementia and we could see changes in his behaviour such as memory loss, disorientate, mood swing and also lost interest in most activities. Simply just eat & sleep. I stumble upon Ikare Dementia Spark Therapy from internet and decided to give it a try. After 1st trial, I decided to sign up this therapy for my brother and so far I could see a positive change in my brother behaviour. He has enjoyed every sessions and now becoming more alert and more engage in the activities. Our care therapist is Iris and she is very jovial, patient and professional and my bro enjoy the interaction with Iris and also the different customise games and activities. A big thank you to Iris our therapist and Phyllis Care Manager and also Daniel (BD) too who had provided us excellent support and always there to help. I strongly recommend IKare Spark Dementia Therapy to anyone who would like to help your loved one who are suffering from dementia. Though dementia can't be reverse or cure but we hope with proper care and therapy by professionals, we can slow down progression of dementia and provide some quality moments for them. Thank You Ikare Team.
I have been recommended by SGH dimentia dept and had been using ikare service since 28 Nov 2023. We are glad to have Ms Iris to attend to my mum for dimentia treatment in the beginning, she had been very patient and her lively spirit had always been able to stimulate my mum's spontaneous respond. We have further engaged Ms Iris after my mum was admitted to Assisi Hospie on the days to relieve my helper and with her company and encouragement, my mum was able to return home since May 2024. Till today, Ms Iris is still coming for an hour short session for 2 times a week to divert my mum attention and keep her happy. I greatly appreciate both the Admin team n Ms Iris for their services.

iKare Home Care MET has not published a detailed rate card on this listing, and pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) tier. Senior transport services in Singapore are typically charged per trip or on a monthly package basis, depending on frequency. Factors that affect cost include distance, frequency of bookings, the need for a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, and whether an accompanying care aide is required. Public holiday and off-peak surcharges are common in this sector, as is a minimum booking window for scheduled runs. Contact iKare Home Care MET directly by phone or enquiry form to obtain current pricing and confirm what is included in any quoted rate. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
iKare Home Care MET's listed subcategory is senior transport, which is a visit- and trip-based service rather than a residential or live-in arrangement. The service is available islandwide, making it suitable for families who need reliable transport to medical appointments, therapy sessions, day rehabilitation centres, or other regular destinations. For families exploring broader care needs — such as in-home personal care, nursing visits, or companionship hours alongside transport — it is worth asking iKare Home Care MET whether these can be bundled or whether they can refer to a complementary provider. Confirm the booking process, lead time required for scheduling trips, and cancellation terms before committing to a recurring arrangement.
No regulatory licences are listed for iKare Home Care MET on this KakiList entry, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed. Families are encouraged to ask the provider directly about the qualifications of staff who accompany seniors during transport — for example, whether drivers or escorts hold basic first aid certification or have training in assisting passengers with limited mobility. For clinical or nursing-grade home care services, providers should hold AIC or MOH registration. As iKare Home Care MET offers senior transport specifically, clarify the scope of staff competency, whether public liability or passenger insurance is in place, and what protocols apply if a medical event occurs during transit before confirming any booking.
If iKare Home Care MET isn't the right fit, these are other senior transport providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
