About Ilham Child Care

About "Ilham Child Care"

Ilham Child Care is a KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered childcare and infant care provider located at Focus One in Ubi, offering services across Singapore. It holds a Google rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on 42 reviews — a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal. Fees are priced in the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis.

Families considering Ilham Child Care for their infant or young child should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care places in particular are limited. When visiting the centre, it is worth asking about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the structure of the daily routine, and the settling-in period to help your child adjust. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA childcare subsidies, including the Basic Subsidy and Working Mother's Subsidy, which may offset monthly fees meaningfully.

To take the next step, reach out to Ilham Child Care via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check current vacancy for your child's age group and to arrange a centre visit.

Dear Management, I would like to raise a concern regarding the way I was treated by the administrative staff during the classphoto collection of my kid. I believe the management may need to provide additional training and guidance to ensure that administrators communicate with parents in a more professional and welcoming manner. Unfortunately, my recent experience made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I already informed my withdrawal on December 2025 through the whatsapp because i am overseas. I got no reply, but later they reply through little lives, and i couldn’t reply because of the system. Then today, i need to take the class photo that we paid already months before, got shocked with the first response I received when entering the school “she’s saying directly on her first welcome sentence that I had not paid the January school fee and that I needed to make the payment immediately. I found her response inappropriate, as my child had already been withdrawn. Moreover, I did not request the return of my one-month deposit, even though it was retained due to the lack of a one-month notice. Additionally, the administrator appeared unwilling to provide the photoclass materials before paying the January school fee (how come i should pay for this) This further added to my frustration. I respectfully suggest that the management monitor and guide how administrators communicate with parents to ensure interactions remain professional, respectful, and supportive. As a parent, I value mutual respect, and I was disappointed by this experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively. Remember that you named yourself as the islamic preschool, you have to treat people in more islamic manner, tho.

No refund of deposit given after done exit interview at PG level. Bad experience. Teachers did not reply to my messages on Little Family Room. Bad quality teaching then also no 2 way transport provided with no reason given as well. No follow up after the exit interview. I need to enquire to them about my deposit but no refund till today. But I kept seeing their director posting in MET Groups about their childcare. I’ve also met the director once when my child was still in there, kept praising about the school instead. Reply to admin: You can’t find me in the system? My child was in Ilham from 2020 to Jan 2022.

The teachers in Ilham Childcare (East) are great and genuinely care for each child. The staff creates a nurturing and safe environment where kids feel loved and supported. It’s wonderful to see how much our children have grown and thrived thanks to their care - whether academically or emotionally. We’re grateful for all the hard work and dedication the teachers put in - teachers past and present.

Been 3 yrs(2023) i enroll my children at Ilham Childcare(Focus 1) , I was quite hesitant at first about Ilham , but we decided to give it a try since it’s near our area. Alhamdulillah, I’m really happy with the school , the teachers, the education, the meaningful events they organize and how they care for our children. That said, every year comes with a bit of sadness, as some of the best teachers leave. I truly feel it’s a loss because these teachers are such a big part of helping our children bond, grow, and feel secure. Their presence is a real bonus to the school. I hope this is something the team can reflect on and work to improve moving forward. A BIG thank you to Teacher Abby, Teacher Kaylor, Teacher Sarah, and Teacher Balqis , Laoshi, for staying on it means so much to us parents and your hardwork. And to Principal Farah, I wish you all the best. Even in just six months, you’ve shown such positivity not only to the children but also to us parents :’)

We're absolutely delighted with the all-inclusive program at this childcare centre. They welcome children from all backgrounds, and the curriculum, which includes Islamic subjects and a pre-madrasah entry program, is fantastic. A special shoutout to the supportive staff and to every single teacher.. and also to Teacher Sarah for her exceptional kindness and patience. She's always polite and loving, even in tough situations. She goes above and beyond to ensure our child's comfort, safety, and happiness. Teacher Sarah's dedication is the main reason we've chosen to stay here, despite considering another centre closer to home. The positive changes in our child's development under her care are truly remarkable.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Ilham Child Care" charge per month?

Ilham Child Care operates on a monthly recurring fee model, priced in the mid-range tier for Singapore childcare and infant care. Exact fees are best confirmed directly with the centre, as rates typically vary by the child's age group — infant care generally commands a higher monthly fee than childcare for older children. Beyond the monthly fee, parents should ask about a one-time registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any costs for uniforms or group insurance. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are exempt from GST, so the quoted monthly rate should reflect what you pay. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at "Ilham Child Care"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres are eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. If the child's mother is employed for at least 56 hours per month, she may also qualify for the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS), which provides further relief on top of the Basic Subsidy. Families with lower household incomes may additionally qualify for the Additional Subsidy (formerly KiFAS for kindergartens), which is income-tested and can bring total combined subsidy up to approximately S$710 per month or more depending on circumstances. Permanent resident children receive partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are updated periodically. Always verify the current figures directly with ECDA at www.ecda.gov.sg before making financial plans.

Is there a waitlist at "Ilham Child Care"?

Infant care places in Singapore are in high demand, and popular centres often fill slots three to twelve months in advance. January is typically the peak intake month, coinciding with the start of the school year, so families targeting that period should enquire especially early. Even for mid-year starts, it is advisable to make contact as soon as your intended start date is known. To secure a place, centres generally require payment of a registration fee and sometimes a deposit. This confirms your child's slot and removes it from the available pool. Contact Ilham Child Care directly via WhatsApp, phone, or their enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and intended start month.
