About Joy Music Studio
Joy Music Studio is a music school based at Marine Parade Central, serving students islandwide from its premises at Parkway Centre. It holds a KakiList verification, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The studio carries a Google rating of 4.6 out of 5 across 38 reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or monthly package fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the studio.
Prospective students or parents should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the studio teaches beginner through advanced grades, which instruments are offered, and whether lessons follow an established syllabus such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or LCM. It is worth asking whether lessons are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, and whether tuition is available in person at the Marine Parade centre or online. Trial class availability, term commitment length, and any materials or examination fees should also be clarified before enrolment.
To take the next step, reach out to Joy Music Studio via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about instrument availability, lesson format, and scheduling — and request a trial class to assess teaching style and level fit before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Great energetic teachers, both my kids enjoy their classes very much. Both are enrolled in drums and piano classes respectively and their feedback have been really good. Keep up the Great work!
Joy music is our daughter’s first music class. Teacher Siti is amazing and I can see improvement in her singing and identifying notes. The staff was worried when she missed too many lessons and even arranged alternate classes for free. Would absolutely recommend Joy music to all parents with young children!
My child has only been with Joy Music Studio for about 3 months now but she has been looking forward to her piano lessons with Teacher Alicia each and every week. Teacher Alicia has a great personality; very bubbly, encouraging and is awesome with kids. She makes the lessons fun and my child enjoys them tremendously. I really like that Joy Music Studio has a team of young teachers who are all upbeat and passionate about music. I think it really makes a lot of difference to the students when they see that their teachers are passionate in what they do.
First of all I would like to give a big thanks to Joy Studio. It was a big privilege to join and learn from this school. I learnt so much. From boosting confidence to improving my singing skills. I started quite late singing but from the help of their wonderful teacher I achieved more than I expected. Their service are amazing. They are all nice. Teachers are all supportive. I love their school. I always feel that Iam welcome on my every lesson. I would definitely recommend this school!!
The music lessons are fun and customized to the student’s progress. Teacher Kimmi is very patient with my girl in her piano lessons, and frequently provides performance opportunities for my girl to gain exposure. The studio environment is very conducive.

Joy Music Studio displays a mid-range pricing tier ($$) on its listing, but specific per-session rates, monthly packages, and term fees are not publicly published. In Singapore, music tuition at a studio typically ranges from S$40–80 per 30-minute lesson for group classes and S$60–150 per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the instrument, grade level, and instructor's experience. Ask the studio whether a trial class fee applies, whether materials or music books are included, and whether sibling or package discounts are available. Examination entry fees for ABRSM or Trinity grades are usually charged separately. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music studios in Singapore offer a trial lesson before a student commits to a term, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate. A trial class is the most reliable way to assess whether the teaching style suits the student, whether the level is pitched appropriately, and whether the student feels comfortable in the learning environment. When attending a trial, observe how the instructor explains technique, whether the pacing matches the student's current ability, and how feedback is delivered. For younger children especially, rapport with the teacher matters considerably for sustained progress. Contact Joy Music Studio directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm whether a trial lesson is available and what the associated cost or conditions are.
Tutor credentials are not listed in the publicly available information for Joy Music Studio. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether instructors hold a music degree or diploma, how many years of teaching experience they have, and whether they are grade-certified or examined teachers under syllabi such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or LCM. For students preparing for graded examinations, it is also worth confirming that the instructor has experience preparing students for the specific board and grade level you are targeting. If a particular instrument specialist is important to you, ask whether the same instructor will teach consistently rather than rotating staff. Raise these questions directly with the studio before committing to a term to ensure the teaching background aligns with your learning goals.
