About Julia Gabriel

About "Julia Gabriel"

Julia Gabriel is a preschool and kindergarten provider operating islandwide in Singapore, with a centre located at 583 Orchard Road. The listing is KakiList verified and ACRA registered, and the provider holds a Google rating of 4.7 out of 5 across 165 reviews — a robust sample that lends reasonable confidence to that figure. Fees are positioned at the mid-to-upper range for the preschool sector (indicated by $$).

Families considering Julia Gabriel should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as popular preschool centres — particularly those in central locations — can fill months in advance. When you make contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum approach, and the length of the settling-in period. It is also worth confirming whether the centre is ECDA-approved, as this determines eligibility for government childcare subsidies available to Singapore citizen children.

To take the next step, reach out via phone or the enquiry form to check current vacancy, arrange a centre visit, and request a copy of the fee schedule and parent contract before committing.

My daughter is 16 months old, and we’ve been attending the Playnest programme every Wednesday at 8:45 am. Teacher Soba is fantastic — you can really feel her genuine care, warmth, and enthusiasm! All the teachers are cheerful, energetic, and make an effort to engage every child. We truly enjoy our sessions, and my little girl is always so happy in class. The activities are fun, interactive, and make learning such a joyful experience. Highly recommend this programme to any parent looking for a wonderful bonding time with their little one through play and happy learning!

My son 11 month old attended Wednesday 8.45am class. My child has truly enjoyed and benefited from the playnest class! From the very first session, I noticed he is really happy and enjoyed the class. The activities are fun, engaging, and thoughtfully planned — helping him learn through play while also building strength and focus. He always looks forward to every class, and it’s wonderful to see him so excited to move, explore, and make new friends. The teacher are patient, encouraging, and know exactly how to bring out the best in each child. I’m so glad we joined this program — it’s been a great way for my child to grow physically and emotionally while having lots of fun!

Teacher Tiffany Dass is a highly charismatic and inspiring teacher. Every time I listen to her after class sharing, it feels like I am listening to a story. Her way of speaking is incredibly engaging and captures attention easily. So, both my child and I truly enjoy her classes. In addition, Teacher Tiffany is always willing to share her experiences and give sincere, thoughtful advice. She observes each child’s learning progress in class and adapts her teaching based on individual learning styles, truly teaching students according to their needs. What I appreciate the most is her patience and dedication in communicating with parents after class. Whenever I have questions or concerns about my child’s learning, she always takes the time to share insights and provide guidance. As a result, not only has my child learned a great deal in her class, but I, as a parent, have also learned valuable ways to better support my child.

Engaging Teachers and Wonderful Place for Little Learners! We couldn’t be happier with our experience here.  From the moment we walked in with our twins, it was clear that this is a place where children are not only cared for, but truly engaged. Teacher Shoba, Brie, and Francis are absolutely fantastic—warm, enthusiastic, and full of loving energy. They make learning fun through play, music, storytelling that keep the children curious and excited. What really stood out for me was how well all the teachers connect with each child, making them feel seen, heard, and valued. The group has an environment full of connection, comfort, and trust, that you can see how the children feel safe, confident, and eager to participate. I see our twin girls becoming more engaged, confident, and come home mimicking fun new things they learn about each after each class. We truly look forward to each class every week. I highly recommend JG Forum to any parent looking for a playgroup that balances learning, creativity, and genuine care. We’re so grateful to be part of this joyful group.

My daughter has attended their playnest class for 2 terms and have thoroughly enjoyed the class. Interesting segments like story telling and music are loved by the children while learning to be comfortable with teachers/babies/toddlers in a classroom setting. A special shoutout to Teacher Zai who has been amazing! She is full of positive energy and her zest for teaching the students shone through. My daughter has graduated playnest and will continue playclub next term with Teacher Zai.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Julia Gabriel" charge per month?

Julia Gabriel is priced in the mid-to-upper range for Singapore preschools ($$), though exact monthly fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the centre. As a general guide, full-day preschool fees at private centres in Singapore typically range from S$1,500 to S$3,500 per month before subsidies, with infant care programmes generally at the higher end of that range. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about a one-time registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months of fees), and any charges for uniforms or insurance. Childcare and kindergarten fees are GST-exempt in Singapore, so no GST should be added to your invoice. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at "Julia Gabriel"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed childcare centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care or S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers who work at least 56 hours per month can also access the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS), which provides further relief based on household income. Families with per-capita monthly household income below S$12,000 may qualify for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring the combined subsidy up to S$710 per month. For kindergarten programmes, the KiFAS subsidy applies for qualifying households. Permanent residents receive partial subsidies at different rates. Subsidy amounts are subject to change — check the ECDA website for current figures and confirm the centre's ECDA-approval status before applying.

Is there a waitlist at "Julia Gabriel"?

Demand for places at well-regarded preschools in central Singapore — particularly those along Orchard Road — can be high, and it is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date. For infant care specifically, families often register six to twelve months in advance. January is the primary intake month for most programmes, so enquiries for that cohort tend to peak in the preceding mid-year period. To secure a place, centres typically require a registration fee and, upon offer, a deposit. Contact Julia Gabriel directly via phone or the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month.
