About JW's Day Play
JW's Day Play is a pet grooming service operating islandwide from its location at Level 2, East Tower, South Beach, JW Marriott Singapore on Beach Road. The listing is KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a Google rating of 4.3 out of 5, though this is based on 18 reviews and should be treated as directional only at this stage. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier.
When reaching out to JW's Day Play, come prepared with your pet's size, breed, and coat type, as these factors typically influence the grooming fee. It is also worth sharing your pet's temperament — particularly if they are anxious around water, clippers, or unfamiliar handlers — so the team can assess suitability. Bring or have ready proof of current vaccinations before the first appointment. If you are new to the service, ask whether a trial visit or introductory session is available so your pet can become comfortable with the environment before committing to a recurring schedule. Clarify whether drop-off is required or whether any mobile options apply, and discuss how often grooming sessions are recommended for your pet's specific coat condition.
To get started, contact JW's Day Play via phone or through the enquiry form on the listing. Ask about current availability, confirm the grooming options suited to your pet's breed and size, and request a breakdown of the session fee including any add-ons, before booking your first appointment. Excellent service! The staff was incredibly welcoming and took great care of me throughout my stay. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience
The spa has some beautiful signature treatments. It smells beautiful as you cross the bridge towards it. If you don’t get to use the spa facilities, they let you return the next day: the treats are the anti-gravity chair in the relaxation lounge, the male and female change facilities have their own sauna, steam room and thermal spa pool. There is also the aromatherapy rain shower. I chose the Pro Glow Facial and I had a Sleep Deeply massage. My therapist was Jaslyn and she possesses the elusive “magic hands” that makes a therapist stands out from the rest. Her rhythm and pressure was perfect. I attained bliss. Thank you Jaslyn!
Excellent spa, warm staff that makes you feel at home. New facilities and great eucalyptus shower. Massage wise was very seamless with varying strength to help relax well. Almost every action is carefully planned and purposeful, impressed and highly recommend
The massage was great, the therapist was excellent, no complaints at all. However, the overall experience was affected by how the session was handled. I arrived slightly late and apologized, but was reminded of it multiple times, which made the atmosphere unnecessarily tense. It’s disappointing when a spa that should help you unwind ends up making you feel rushed. Some adjustment in how the last appointments are managed, especially when the full session time can’t realistically be provided, could really help.
Disappointing that the spa does not offer complimentary access to hotel guests for basic installation access (sauna, jacuzzi), unlike most Marriott properties.

Grooming fees in Singapore typically vary based on your pet's size, breed, and coat condition. Smaller dogs and cats generally attract a base rate starting from around S$50–S$80, while larger or double-coated breeds can run S$100–S$180 or more per session. JW's Day Play is listed at the mid-range price tier, though specific pricing was not published at the time of this listing. Most grooming providers in Singapore require dogs to be current on core vaccines, typically DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is the standard requirement. Some facilities also ask for a bordetella vaccination, particularly where multiple pets are handled in close proximity. Vaccination records are generally expected to be within the past 12 months and proof is usually requested at drop-off. If your pet's jabs are overdue, schedule a vet visit before booking. Contact JW's Day Play directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy before your first appointment.
JW's Day Play is KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. However, no regulatory licences are listed for this provider. In Singapore, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under NParks oversees licensing for pet-related businesses, and grooming facilities that also conduct boarding are typically required to hold an AVS licence. No insurance information is currently on record for this listing. Before your first appointment, it is worth asking the provider directly about their protocol in the event a pet is injured or becomes unwell during a session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
