About Kadenz Music Academy
Kadenz Music Academy is a music school based at Peninsula Plaza in the heart of Singapore's City Hall area, serving students islandwide. The academy is KakiList verified and registered with ACRA. It holds a perfect 5-star rating on Google, though this is drawn from 14 reviews, so it should be treated as directional rather than definitive at this stage.
Prospective students or parents looking to enrol should begin by enquiring about the appropriate level and syllabus fit for the learner — whether that is beginner, intermediate, or examination-grade study. It is worth clarifying upfront whether lessons are offered one-to-one or in small groups, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a longer term. You may also wish to confirm whether tuition takes place in person at the Peninsula Plaza studio or whether online arrangements are possible, and what the term commitment and notice period look like should your schedule change.
To take the next step, reach out to Kadenz Music Academy via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current availability, lesson formats, and fees before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My 2 children have been with Teacher Andrea for almost 4 months and it has been wonderful. Teacher Andrea's teaching style is very suitable for young children as she is patient yet firm and has a way to guide my children in understanding the concepts. Under her guidance, my younger child who is new to piano was able to play short music piece independently now and for my other child who is working towards Grade 5 shown great improvements as well. She is punctual for lessons too! In addition, the administrator of Kadenz Academy is very friendly, helpful and prompt in replying any queries.
We’ve noticed a remarkable improvement in our child’s piano progress since starting lessons with ms Huang— much faster than before. Her structured guidance and clear expectations have truly helped build our child ”s skill An added bonus we deeply appreciate is her ability to communicate in Chinese during lessons. It’s wonderful to see our child engaging more in Mandarin, which not only supports language development We’re grateful for the positive impact she made.
Great experience with the music teacher (Ms Amy) introduced by the music school. My daughter enjoys her classes and it’s more personalised based on her abilities. Thank you!
My child has been taking piano lessons with Teacher Yuki for months. Teacher Yuki provided is absolutely wonderful, with a calm manner, supportive teaching style and has a fantastic rapport with my kid. Recent piano performance shown that she has made great progress and gained confidence.
Teacher Ka Wan is a dedicated and talented piano teacher who truly nurtured my child's love for music. Her patience and encouragement makes lessons fun. My child look forward to every lesson and we truly hope his next on stage performance will be a better one :).

Kadenz Music Academy's pricing has not been published on this listing. In Singapore, music tuition at private academies typically ranges from S$40–S$100 per session for group lessons and S$60–S$150 or more for one-to-one instruction, depending on the instrument, the teacher's experience, and lesson duration. Monthly packages and term bundles are common and generally work out at a lower per-session rate than ad hoc bookings. Ask about any registration or materials fee at the point of enquiry, and check whether a trial class is available and what it costs. Some academies offer sibling discounts or package deals for students committing to a full term. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial lesson so that prospective students can assess whether the teaching style, pace, and repertoire suit them before signing up for a term. It is worth asking Kadenz Music Academy directly whether a trial class is available, what it costs, and whether the fee is credited towards a term package if you proceed. During a trial, pay attention to how the teacher structures the session, whether the level feels appropriate, and whether the student leaves feeling engaged and motivated. For younger learners especially, the interpersonal fit between teacher and student can matter as much as technical credentials. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether you can observe a class or speak with the teacher beforehand.
Kadenz Music Academy has not published specific tutor credentials on this listing. For music instruction, relevant qualifications to ask about include formal music degrees or diplomas, graded examination certifications from bodies such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or LCM, and prior teaching experience at comparable schools or studios. If your child is preparing for graded examinations, it is also worth confirming that the teacher is familiar with the relevant syllabus and examination board requirements. Contact Kadenz Music Academy directly to ask about the background of the teacher who would be assigned to your lessons, as credentials can vary across instruments and teaching staff.
