When bringing your pet to Kai Vets for the first time, it helps to gather relevant information in advance: your pet's breed, size, age, and temperament, as well as up-to-date vaccination records. Let the clinic know of any existing health conditions or behavioural sensitivities so the team can prepare accordingly. Whether you are booking a routine wellness check, a follow-up consultation, or an urgent appointment, it is worth calling ahead to confirm availability and discuss what to expect during the visit. If your pet is anxious around new environments, mention this when making contact so the team can advise on how best to manage the experience.

Chanced upon Kai Vet when we were searching for another vet to bring our baby (Guinness) to. Their online platform for booking appointments was easy to use and convenient. The Vet reception area was clean and bright & spacious and it made Guinness very comfortable as compared to the previous vet where he was at. Dr Chua is Guinness's attending Veterinarian and I am very pleased that he is in such good hands. From the checkups, to his neutering was superb. Dr Chua makes sure Guinness feels comfortable during the check ups and his explanation on fees were transparent too. Kai Vet response time is very timely too. We were worried about Guinness coughing and was helpless, an email was sent to them to address this issue. They responded back within the day with a detailed diagnosis and explanation and was able to dispense the medication for us to pick up. This makes us feel at ease . As of now, Guinness is recovering well from his neutering. He is back to his lively self. Thank you to Dr Chua , Nurses and the other staff at Kai Vet for caring for all pets like it's your own.
I’ve been consistently impressed by the professionalism, warmth, and dedication shown by the entire team at Kai Vets. The veterinarians are highly skilled and thorough, taking the time to explain every diagnosis and treatment option with clarity and patience. It’s evident that they approach each case with both medical expertise and heartfelt compassion. The clinic is clean, calm, and thoughtfully designed to make every visit as stress-free as possible for both animals and humans. The nurses also go above and beyond to ensure every patient receives attentive, individualized care. PS: Look for Dr Atticus. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Sent my cat, didnt knew it was an emergency but they immediately took my cat in and had him checked. Doctor Joy explained to me clearly and calmly, from the procedures to the financials. They even called me after the procedure to tell that it went well. The doctor also called me to update on my cat before discharging him. During dispensing, the counter staff explained to me clearly on the medication and the diet needed to be given to my cat, hence she made me feel less anxious bcos she was friendly! even when upon signing of the forms for the admission, the lady explained clearly as well :) Really appreciate the staffs & doctors there! Really recommended for all pet owners to come and send your pets here.
Dr Michelle and team were so friendly and gentle with Mochi! She provided advice on what’s needed & necessary (eg: basic blood work versus advanced blood work) instead of upselling what’s not necessary. We’ve been coming here for Mochi’s annual vaccination, highly recommend - professional team!
I chanced upon Kai Vet a few months ago when I called the clinic. A gentleman patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions over the phone. Even though the schedule was full that day, when I explained that I would be traveling the next day, he kindly squeezed in a slot for my dog, Mochi. That gentleman turned out to be Dr. Atticus. His professionalism left a very good impression on me, and I am thankful to have found someone I can entrust my pet to.

Kai Vets is priced in the mid-range tier ($$), but a detailed fee schedule was not available at the time of this listing. For veterinary clinics in Singapore, a standard consultation typically ranges from S$30 to S$80, with costs rising depending on the nature of the visit — diagnostics, vaccinations, minor procedures, or specialist referrals each carry separate charges. Additional costs may include medications dispensed on the day, laboratory tests, or follow-up appointments. It is advisable to ask for a written estimate before any procedure, particularly for non-routine treatments. Contact Kai Vets directly by phone or enquiry form to confirm current consultation fees and any applicable charges for your pet's specific needs. For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) as well as rabies. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard. If you are using a boarding or daycare facility, bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly required as well. Most providers expect vaccinations to have been administered within the past 12 months. As a veterinary clinic, Kai Vets is well-placed to advise on your pet's vaccination schedule and to administer any overdue jabs ahead of boarding or travel. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or certificate to the appointment. Contact the clinic in advance to confirm which records are needed for your specific visit.
Kai Vets has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed the clinic's operating details and contact channels. The listing holds a 4.7-star rating across 148 Google reviews, which is a robust sample and reflects consistent feedback from pet owners in the area. However, no specific regulatory licences were recorded in this listing at the time of publication, and the clinic does not appear on the ACRA business registry as currently held on file. Veterinary practices in Singapore are regulated by the Singapore Veterinary Council (SVC), and individual veterinarians must be registered to practise. For boarding facilities, an Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) licence is required. We recommend confirming the clinic's regulatory standing directly with Kai Vets before your first visit. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
