First visit here and i was completely impressed by all aspects - professional and friendly reception staff explained everything clearly, vet Dr Brandon Goh was also really great. Very thorough and again great explanations. Facilities are great and v clean. Easy to park at the rear. We are very happy to have found this vet practice 🥰
The vets (Dr. Delia especially!) and Alina have been absolutely top notch. My 2 senior dogs both underwent surgery here and were returned safe and happy. They were formerly going to a different vet clinic (also premium priced), but I noticed a level of care at The Gentle Vet that wasnt always present at their prior vet. Even the dogs seemed at ease despite the procedures. I'm especially impressed with how upfront they are with procedures, costs, and how good they are at replying to Whatsapp messages and calling frequently to answer any questions. Honestly, I didn't expect such good communication from a busy clinic. It is very obvious how hard this team works to make sure both the pets and their humans feel comfortable and informed. Big thanks to them!
We've been regular clients at The Gentle Vet for over a year now, bringing our two beloved cats, Waffle and Churro, for everything from their first vaccinations to spaying, and various treatments in between. Throughout all our visits, The Gentle Vet has consistently impressed us with their high standard of care, clean and pleasant environment, and most importantly, their genuine compassion for animals. Our kitties have essentially grown up here, and we’re so thankful for the team who’s been with us every step of the way in their health journey. What stands out most to me—and what keeps us coming back without hesitation—are two key things: Private waiting rooms: This is an absolute game changer for cat owners. The Gentle Vet always ensures we get a quiet, private space to wait in before our appointment. It makes such a difference for our anxious cats, who get incredibly stressed in loud or crowded environments. This thoughtful setup has helped Waffle and Churro stay much calmer and makes visits so much less stressful for everyone involved. Consistently excellent service: Whether it's over the phone, through WhatsApp, or in person, every interaction with their team has been warm, professional, and kind. From the sweet and gentle vet techs to the knowledgeable vets and the lovely front desk staff, everyone goes above and beyond to make us feel cared for and supported. Please never change, Gentle Vet — we truly love you guys and are so grateful to have found you.
I recently brought my newly adopted Golden Retriever, May, to The Gentle Vet for sterilisation. Having had my Westie sterilised four years ago at another clinic, I expected a similar and routine procedure. Although May is three years old and had previously given birth before I adopted her, I was confident that the process would go smoothly. However, after the procedure, May appeared reluctant to get up and was still looking sleepy when it was time for us to pick her up in the evening, which caused considerable concern. Dr. Delia and her team suggested keeping her a little longer so that they could monitor her closely. The team stayed on and kept me updated every now and then, which was greatly reassuring. To everyone’s relief, after trying several treats, one finally caught her attention! She got up, ate eagerly, and began walking around the clinic, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone present. Upon seeing this, I couldn’t help but think that May was simply too comfortable and enjoying her rest there. Their follow-up messages over the next few mornings to check on May’s progress were deeply appreciated and truly heart-warming. I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Delia and her dedicated team for their exceptional care and professionalism. They went above and beyond to ensure May’s recovery and comfort. I totally agree with other reviews describing Dr. Delia as patient, caring, and knowledgeable—always making her furry patients feel at ease during their visits. Dr. Delia is by far the best vet I have encountered. To the entire team, thank you for making every visit a positive experience and for your dedication to providing the best care for our fur kids. Greatly appreciated and thank you!!
My wife and I brought our pet Maltese for a dental surgery. Quality: 10/10 Efficiency:10/10 Cost:10/10 We really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and vets, and how up front they were with cost. Definitely recommend.

Katong Vet Clinic is priced at the mid-range tier, though specific per-visit fees have not been publicly listed. For a veterinary clinic in Singapore, consultation fees typically range from S$30 to S$80 for a standard visit, with additional charges for diagnostics, medications, vaccinations, and procedures depending on your pet's needs. Breed, size, and the complexity of the condition can all influence the final bill. When you call or submit an enquiry, ask for an itemised estimate covering the consultation fee, any diagnostic tests, prescribed medications, and follow-up visits if applicable. Confirm whether GST is included in quoted prices. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) as well as rabies. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine covering feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia is standard. If your pet requires boarding or daycare as part of any service, bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly required in addition to the core vaccines. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current within the past 12 months. It is advisable to bring your pet's vaccination booklet or certificate to any appointment. If your pet's vaccinations have lapsed, the clinic can advise on an appropriate catch-up schedule before proceeding with other services.
