About Kidya Childcare

About "Kidya Childcare"

Kidya Childcare is a preschool and kindergarten provider operating from its centre at Bright Centre, Telok Kurau, Singapore 425500. The listing is KakiList verified and ACRA registered, giving families a baseline of confidence. Its Google rating sits at 3.7 out of 5 across 24 reviews; the sample is on the smaller side, so that figure should be treated as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier.

Families considering Kidya Childcare should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as places — particularly for younger age groups — can fill well ahead of time. When you reach out, ask about the daily routine, the infant-to-caregiver ratio, and how the team manages the settling-in period for new children. It is also worth discussing ECDA subsidies during your initial conversation, as Singapore citizen children may qualify for Basic Subsidy or Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy depending on household circumstances. A centre visit before committing allows you to meet the lead teacher and see the learning environment first-hand.

The most straightforward next step is to contact Kidya Childcare directly by phone or via the enquiry form listed on this page to check current availability for your child's intended intake month and to arrange a centre visit.

It is a new childcare center with a conducive learning environment. A friendly and professional team. They are engaging, lively and energetic. Patient and encouraging with both kids and parents. An excellent lineup curriculum, a detailed Arabic lesson explained by the teacher so that parents know what in store for the children. I am confident that this center has set a solid foundation for their learning path and that they have developed a true love for learning. With all the positive environment that they reflected, I have no worries of sending my daughter to the center.

I have been trying to get information of their school program as well as school fee. I have emailed them and also filled up their form yet they have not gotten back to me at all! If this is how they act even and the lack of Comm even before I enrol my child in the school , imagine how it will be after I enrol my Child. To the owner, you really have to put in more effort or else close shop! You have lost one customer and if this is how you communicate with your customers and potential customers you will go bust soon for sure! Horrible service! Super not responsive! If I can put a 0 review I’ll surely will!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Kidya Childcare" charge per month?

Kidya Childcare's pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier for Singapore childcare, though specific monthly fee figures are not publicly listed. When enquiring, ask for a full fee breakdown that covers the monthly programme fee, any one-time registration fee, the deposit amount (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and miscellaneous charges such as uniform or personal accident insurance. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly amount should be your final cost on that line. Additional costs such as excursion fees or enrichment add-ons, if offered, are typically billed separately. Always request a written fee schedule before signing the enrolment contract. What subsidies can I claim at "Kidya Childcare"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at a licensed childcare centre may qualify for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care or up to S$300 per month for childcare — regardless of household income. Working mothers who clock at least 56 hours of work per month may additionally access the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. Families with lower household incomes may qualify for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring total combined subsidies to up to S$710 per month. Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Subsidies are administered through ECDA and credited directly against fees; you do not receive a cash payout. The specific subsidy figures are reviewed periodically, so visit the ECDA website for the most current rates before making financial plans. Note that subsidy eligibility depends on the centre holding the appropriate ECDA licence. Confirm this directly with Kidya Childcare before enrolment.

Is there a waitlist at "Kidya Childcare"?

Waitlists are common across Singapore's childcare sector, particularly for infant care places and for centres in residential catchments with high demand. As a general rule, families are advised to enquire at least three to six months ahead of their intended start date, and up to twelve months ahead for infant care vacancies. January is typically the peak intake month, and slots around that period tend to fill earliest. To secure a place once offered, centres usually require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Submitting these promptly is important, as offers are commonly made to the next family on the list if not accepted within a short window. Contact Kidya Childcare directly by phone or via the enquiry form to ask about current availability and to add your child to the waitlist if required.
