As it was my first visit, the reception staff patiently explained the process on how to navigate the laminate selections and to locate the large pieces at the pull out racks. I was handed a clipboard and pencil to begin my journey of exploration, browsing at my own pace. Staff was on hand to answer questions and help me find the colors I needed. I was also able to select up to 10 sample laminates to take home. There are 2 light box stations to simulate the various lighting effect against your choice of laminates. The showroom also offers water and coffee. 6min walk from Bendemeer MRT. Do make an appointment ahead of time. Weekends are generally quite busy so you may need to take turns at the pull out rack. Asked about their new Senoko showroom, was informed that they carry the exact same offering at both showroom. Only difference is that Senoko is more spacious and you'd be able to see the full range of laminates displayed in large format.

We chose Lamitak’s Protak Laminate thinking we were paying for premium quality as it was a big price jump from the standard laminates in our renovation package. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Our carpentry was still incomplete six months after moving in. We had been living without cabinet doors in the kitchen because the ID had to replace them due to chipped and uneven edges. The ID had the panels redone least three times, or maybe more. Even after using Lamitak’s recommended ABS supplier, the issue persisted. At one point, the installer even attempted to manually paint over the edges but was stopped by us. We were eventually advised to switch to another laminate series as we were told it was a Protak laminate issue. End state - Fidel panels are protak and doors are solid core laminates. What was supposed to be a quality upgrade had turned into a long and frustrating process. We’ve even had to delay our housewarming indefinitely because the cabinets were still unfinished then. Very disappointed with both the product quality and time required to resolve this (half a year after handover).
