I arranged for a surprise private dance lesson for my friend's birthday and it went really well! The team made an effort to reach out to us to confirm the song and choreography for the day of the surprise. Our dance instructor - Biong was really friendly and encouraging, breaking down the steps and checking in on us throughout the lesson. The studio was also bright, clean and tidy, I highly recommend booking this as a fun friend group activity and would definitely consider doing this again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We were a mixed group of adults and kids ranging from some experience to none and had a good time taking the private lesson from Melody. Thanks to the team there for the rapid responses and easy scheduling as well as flexibility in what we learnt!
I have a great session with Bingo. She is very patient and encouraging, the whole session is filled with so much fun and laughter. She breaks the moves into bitable size and suggests how you move your body more beautifully. Definitely recommending this. I am new to K-pop. I did not finish the whole song, Flower by Jisoo. But I am very happy with what we have achieved in this one session. Thank you Bingo. I truly enjoy myself 😊
Biong really has that hip hop feel. She’s so patient with kids. She knows how to make it easy for the kids. My son learned very fast with her. His talent show was a big success. Everybody said he’s a dance pro 😊
A most memorable team cohesion activity happened at Legacy yesterday. We’re a group of doctors who have never thought we would be able to carry this off. Our instructor Aju was extremely patient and obviously experienced (but forgiving). He chose a routine not too hard to learn under two hours, that still allowed us to appreciate Hip Hop as an art form. Each of us went home happy and proud. Highly recommended! Will return for more. Edward

Legacy Dance Co displays a mid-range price point ($$), though specific per-session rates are not published in the listing. Dance schools in Singapore typically charge on a per-session, monthly package, or per-term basis. Group classes commonly range from S$30–80 per session depending on the discipline and class size, while one-to-one sessions tend to run higher. Monthly packages and term fees often work out to a lower effective rate than paying per session. Additional costs to confirm include trial class fees, examination or grading fees where applicable, costume or uniform requirements, and any materials charges. Sibling discounts or package deals may be available — it is worth asking directly. For a broader overview, see the full Dance Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or included in the first month's payment. A trial gives the student a chance to experience the teaching style, assess whether the level is appropriate, and gauge how engaged and comfortable they feel in the class environment. When attending a trial, look at how the instructor manages the group, whether corrections are clear and encouraging, and whether the pace suits the student's current ability. It is also a good opportunity to observe the studio facilities and meet other students. Contact Legacy Dance Co directly to confirm their trial class policy and any associated cost before visiting.
Instructor qualifications at dance schools can vary widely. In Singapore, credible dance educators often hold certifications from recognised bodies such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), or equivalent institutions depending on the discipline. Some instructors also hold degrees in performing arts or have professional performance experience. The listing does not specify the credentials of Legacy Dance Co's instructors. It is advisable to ask directly about their training background, years of teaching experience, and any syllabus affiliations — particularly if the student is working towards examinations. Take the trial class and confirm the instructor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
