About "Little Green House"
Little Green House is a childcare and infant care provider operating at KH Plaza @ Aljunied, with two adjoining units at 12 Aljunied Road. Monthly fees are positioned at the mid-range tier ($$).
Families considering infant care should begin by enquiring whether a slot is available for their intended start month, as infant care places in Singapore fill quickly, particularly for the January intake. When you contact Little Green House by phone or via the enquiry form, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine structure, and the settling-in period approach, as these vary meaningfully between centres. If your child is a Singapore citizen, confirm eligibility for ECDA Basic Subsidy and the Working Mothers' Child Care Subsidy, which can substantially reduce out-of-pocket monthly costs. A centre visit is strongly recommended so you can meet the lead teacher and see the environment first-hand before committing.
The most practical next step is to call or submit the contact form on this listing to check current vacancy for your preferred start month, then arrange a visit to tour the centre and review the parent contract before signing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

We have 2 children attending LGH Aljunied and our experience has been really great. The teachers are kind and good natured, you can see that they truly enjoy teaching the children. We have a good relationship with the teachers and principal. The curriculum encourages them to read and both our kids enjoy reading on their own.
Teachers here are really thoughtful and professional, we receive daily updates and observations about our child, and consistently telling us what to take note of, the daily updates shows us how caring the teachers are towards my child, shout out to teacher Misa, Wang laoshi, Teacher Sha, Evelyn, Hui Shiah.
We are so grateful for the incredible care our baby has received over the past two months at Little Green House. The team is kind, professional, and genuinely loving toward the little ones. They have created such a nurturing environment, and it’s clear that our baby feels safe and happy there. We appreciate how communicative the staff is, keeping us updated on our baby's activities, milestones, and overall well-being every day. The facility is always clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for the babies’ comfort and development. Thank you for your dedication and hard work in providing exceptional care. You’ve given us peace of mind as new parents, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to trust you with our child!
Teachers are very observant, caring and take good care of my child. My child loves to go to the centre and close to the teachers.
My little one has been attending Little Green House @ Aljunied infant care and I have been pleased with the attention and services that the principal and educarers have shown. During the days of a daycare search (last min!), principal Yvette had been welcoming and proactive with the onboarding process to make it less anxious as a first time mother. I am able to experience the love and nurturing of all the professionals in the centre being translated to the wellbeing of my child. Thank you!

Little Green House displays a mid-range ($$) monthly fee. For context, infant care in Singapore typically runs from around S$1,200 to S$2,800 per month before subsidies, depending on the centre and its licence tier. Contact Little Green House directly to confirm the current published rate. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about any one-time registration fee, a deposit (centres commonly require the equivalent of one to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms or group insurance. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the figure quoted should reflect your full liability before subsidy deductions. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed infant care centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month for infant care (lower amounts apply for childcare). Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may additionally claim the Working Mothers' Child Care Subsidy on top of the Basic Subsidy. For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy provides further means-tested relief, and combined support can reach up to S$710 per month depending on household income. Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at reduced quantum. Subsidy amounts are subject to government review, so always check the ECDA website for the most current figures before budgeting. Confirm with Little Green House whether they are an ECDA-licensed centre, as only licensed centres are able to administer these subsidies on your behalf.
Infant care places in Singapore are among the most competitive in the childcare sector. Popular centres are commonly fully booked three to twelve months ahead, and January is the peak intake month as it aligns with the start of the school year. Even if you are expecting, it is advisable to enquire as early as possible — ideally in the second trimester. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Little Green House directly by phone or via the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your intended start month. If there is a waitlist, ask how it is managed and what notice you would receive before a slot becomes available.
