During your initial enquiry, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine including feeding and sleep schedules, and the settling-in period to help your baby adjust. It is also worth confirming whether the centre participates in ECDA subsidy schemes, which can significantly reduce monthly fees for eligible Singapore citizen children.
To take the next step, reach out to Little Oxford via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check current vacancy for your child's intended start month, and arrange an in-person visit to meet the caregiving team and view the infant care environment before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

We have had a very positive experience with this school. The teachers are very friendly and welcoming to new students. They are patient, caring, and make a big effort to help new children settle in and transition smoothly into school life. I would like to specially mention Teacher Lina, who is very gentle and patient with the children, and provides great support to new students until they feel comfortable in school. Ms Nai, the Principal, is also very attentive and supportive. She regularly shares photos and updates with parents, which gives us a lot of reassurance and peace of mind. This thoughtful communication is something we really appreciate. My child is supported by two class teachers, Teacher Jerodine and 王老师. Both teachers are very patient and caring, and they often engage with the children through play and interactive lessons. They take good care of new students, making them feel safe and happy, and because of this, my child truly enjoys going to school every day. The teacher-to-student ratio is good, and the overall environment of the school feels warm, caring, and homely. It truly feels like a second home for the children. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers and staff for their dedication, care, and support.❤️
we are incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful preschool for our LO. from the very beginning, what stood out to us was how hands on and involved the principal, Ms Nai, is in the daily activities. it is truly rare to see a principal who is so present, engaged and connected with both the children and parents. her leadership sets a warm and reassuring tone for the entire school. as my LO had never been away from us since birth, I was naturally very anxious about this new chapter. understanding this, Ms Nai personally took the effort to update me several times daily during the first month without fail. her consistent updates and reassurance meant so much to me as a parent. it truly helped ease my worries and gave me confidence that my child is in safe and caring hands. during the first month, teacher Lina was there for my LO throughout the day. my child has always found it difficult to adapt to new environment and would only nap comfortably at home or in the car. I was honestly doubtful that he would be able to nap in school. to my pleasant surprise, he managed to nap well within the first week. this was a huge milestone for us and I am deeply grateful to Teacher Lina for her patience, dedication and gentle guidance during the transition. even after the first month, when there were occasional tears during drop off, Teacher Lina will be there to carry him. knowing that he has a consistent and nurturing teacher by his side give us tremendous peace of mind. we are also very thankful to Teacher Jerodine, Teacher Wang lao shi and Teacher Miki for their involvement in his learning and development. it is evident that the teachers work closely as a team to create a structured yet nurturing environment. we truly appreciate the effort and heart that each teacher pours into the children. many thanks to Ms Nai and the entire team for creating such a safe, supportive and loving environment. this preschool is more than just a school — it is a community that genuinely cares for both the children and their parents. we could not have asked for a better start to our child’s learning journey.
My daughter has been at Little Oxford SK02 for two years now, and we are really happy with the school. She used to cry every day at her previous school, but now she comes home smiling and full of stories. Her class teachers, Teacher Su and Zhu Laoshi, are very kind and patient - she talks about them all the time. The principal, Ms. Nai, is warm and very passionate about the children. All the SK02 staff are friendly and caring. We are truly grateful that our daughter is in a place where she feels happy, safe, and well cared for. 🥰 A special thank you to all the teachers who have given such great support to my daughter: Ms. Nai, Teacher Su, Yihong Laoshi, Zhu Laoshi, Teacher Lina, Luo Laoshi, and Teacher Doris. Wishing you all a very happy Teacher’s Day! 💖
The teachers and principal here are kind - and you can tell not just by their expression, but when your child also expresses how much they like them. My child was having a difficult time adjusting to school, especially with sleeping during naptime, but the teachers have really helped her to get used to it. The environment is warm & homely, which has been really conducive to my child’s learning. It does not feel clinical, unlike some other schools I have visited that prioritise rote learning over a fun & joyful early years. The school comes up with really great activities for the children and my daughter has learned a lot from it, including learning some Chinese which we weren’t able to teach her at home as we don’t really speak it much. She comes home singing & dancing to Chinese songs now! A special heartfelt thanks to Ms Nai, Wang Lao Shi, Teacher Wei Min, Teacher Lina, Teacher Micki, Teacher Doris, Teacher Su and Teacher Joanne for creating a wonderful, warm & welcoming environment for my child. I appreciate it a lot.
My daughter joined Little Oxford from another pre-school and I can’t stress enough what a world of difference Ms Nai and her highly capable team of teachers and staff have done to her confidence and learning aptitude. She looks forward to attending school, thoroughly enjoys lessons and enrichment activities and has broadened her knowledge through the many thoughtfully planned excursions. Being a non-Chinese, even her interest and grasp of the language has greatly improved under Luo Laoshi. Ms Nai’s unwavering commitment to making the school environment safe, welcoming, clean and holistically engaging makes it such a wholesome experience for the children. Special thanks to Tr Su, Luo Laoshi and the rest of the staff for an unforgettable learning journey for my daughter. She will truly miss all her teachers, friends and Ms Nai when she graduates this year. We are forever grateful and blessed to have ignited our daughter’s love for learning and fostering relationships through a school like LOSH SK02!

Singapore citizen children enrolled in licensed infant care centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may additionally claim the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. Families with per capita household income below S$12,000 may be eligible for Additional Subsidy, bringing combined monthly support up to approximately S$710 or more depending on income tier. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Subsidy amounts are subject to periodic revision by the government — check directly with ECDA at ecda.gov.sg for the most current figures before making financial plans. Confirm with Little Oxford whether the centre is ECDA-anchor-operator funded or non-anchor, as this affects the subsidy rates applicable to your child.
Infant care places in Singapore are among the most competitive in the childcare sector. It is advisable to enquire at least six to twelve months ahead of your intended start date, particularly if you are targeting a January intake, which is the peak enrolment period for most centres. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, so have these ready once you decide to proceed. Ask Little Oxford directly about their current vacancy situation, as availability changes frequently and a phone call or WhatsApp message will give you the most accurate picture. If your preferred start month is full, ask to be placed on a waitlist and confirm how the centre manages waitlist offers and the timeline for notification.
