We recently moved to the neighbourhood and had to transition our children from a school they loved, which was a tough decision. But our fears turned out to be unfounded as my children have been so well taken care of at LOSH. It didn’t take long before our kids were looking forward to attending school again. Ms Stephanie, the principal, is the sweetest, and the teachers clearly love what they do. Communication is timely and updates are frequent, which we appreciate. Thank you for making a difference!
My 3 year old daughter enjoys Little Oxford Schoolhouse tremendously. The school's curriculum is very fun and beneficial for my daughter. After a few months of joining the school, I noted that my DD is able to string long sentences by herself. She also gets a lot of sun and physical activity with the outdoor playground and activities that the teachers organize. The teachers and staff are also very caring and nurturing; they also constantly give updates to the parents on activities in school (what the children learn in the week / month). With my DD at Little Oxford Schoolhouse, I am assured that she is getting a wholesome education and being well cared for! I will highly recommend Little Oxford Schoolhouse if you are currently looking for a preschool!
Wonderful school, excellent teachers and staff. Little Oxford was the first school we enrolled our little girl in starting at 18mo. By the end of her first week she was asking when she could go back. The weekend was just too long! Her language and coordination blossomed at Little Oxford. She now uses “please” and “thank you” appropriately and uses appropriate greetings for adults and other children. She started to pick up Mandarin very quickly and can easily switch between basic English and Mandarin greeting and simple sayings. Thank you, thank you to the wonderful team at Little Oxford!
LOSH has created such a warm and engaging environment that makes learning fun every single day. We are so grateful for their patience and dedication, which has helped our child grow so much in confidence and skills.
Prior to registering to Little Oxford, we visited half a dozen other preschool in the vicinity. However, after careful consideration(environment, teacher student interaction, diseases handling, student teacher ratio and communications with parents etc), we went with Little Oxford. This was one of the best decision of our lives. Initially, we were quite worried on her adaptability to start school(never been to childcare before), however, with a week of conditioning prior to starting (joined her class for their outdoor activities) she gets to meet and familiarise with her teachers and classmates and that helps! The school provided daily updates for the first 2 weeks which puts our heart at ease looking at her smiles while participating in the activities. She settled down quickly and even asked to go to school during the weekends! We can feel how the environment is just so heartwarming and welcoming when all the teachers including principal greeted my Little Girl loudly by her name in the morning. Nothing can assure us more on our decision than her response on how she loves her teachers and friends and the enthusiasm of going to school every morning. Communication between school and parents are also adequate and prompt, done via the Little Family Room app. Thank you for such a holistic experience Little Oxford. ☺️

Little Oxford Schoolhouse is listed at the S$$ price tier, which typically indicates mid-range monthly fees for a preschool or kindergarten in Singapore. Published monthly fees for private preschools and kindergartens generally range from around S$800 to S$2,500 depending on programme type, hours, and centre tier. Contact the school directly for their current fee schedule. Beyond the monthly tuition fee, it is common for centres to charge a one-off registration fee, a deposit equivalent to one or two months of fees, and separate charges for uniform and personal accident insurance. Childcare and kindergarten fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no GST should be added to your tuition invoice. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in an ECDA-licensed childcare centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month for infant care or S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers who clock at least 56 hours of employment per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Subsidy. Lower-income families may receive the Additional Subsidy, which is income-tested and can bring the combined monthly subsidy up to S$710 or more. For kindergarten programmes, the KidStart Financial Assistance Scheme, or KiFAS, provides fee assistance to eligible families. Singapore Permanent Resident children may qualify for partial subsidies at reduced rates. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are updated periodically, so always verify current figures directly with ECDA at ecda.gov.sg before budgeting. Note that subsidy eligibility is also dependent on the centre holding the relevant ECDA licence — confirm this with Little Oxford Schoolhouse directly when you enquire.
Waitlists at popular preschools and kindergartens in Singapore can be lengthy, particularly for infant care places. Families are generally advised to enquire between three and twelve months ahead of their intended start date. January is the primary intake month for most centres, so competition for places in that cohort tends to be highest from around September onwards. To secure a slot, most centres require payment of a registration fee and, upon offer of a place, a deposit. These fees are typically non-refundable if you withdraw after acceptance, so confirm the terms carefully before committing. Contact Little Oxford Schoolhouse directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's intended start month, as real-time vacancy information can only be confirmed by the centre.
