Families considering infant care at Little Paddington would typically begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care places in Singapore fill quickly. It is advisable to arrange a centre visit to observe the environment, meet the staff, and ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, daily routine, and the settling-in period for young babies. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce monthly fees depending on household income and the mother's working status.
The most practical next step is to reach out to Little Paddington directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's intended start month and to schedule an in-person visit before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Little Paddington Preschool provides early childhood education and has facilities designed to support learning and development in young children.
LP team is very patient, professional and caring. School set up includes both outdoors fun, indoors creativity, that are crucial to me for a kid’s childhood school. My gal looks forward to school daily mostly ☺️ Just one trivial perhaps, to do more fogging to reduce mozzies around that vicinity. Mozzies get attracted to my gal readily easily..
Amazing pre-school. Had a fantastic run at Little Paddington with both of my daughters. It truly is an 'Outstanding School': the staff are fantastic. Everyone is so approachable and understanding, and nothing is too much for them.
My children are enjoying the pre-school very much. Good facilities and understanding teachers. Lots of open space and outdoor spaces for children to play and run about. The learning is also very structured and focused on children’s abilities. The principal Ms Shashi is awesome. Keep up the great work.

Little Paddington displays its fees at a mid-range ($$) monthly recurring price point, though the exact figure should be confirmed directly with the centre, as published rates can vary by age group and session type. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-time registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to two months' fees), and any additional costs for uniforms or group insurance. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no goods and services tax should be added to your invoice. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-licensed infant care centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month, and working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of work per month may qualify for the additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy on top of that. Families with lower household incomes may also be eligible for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring total combined support up to S$710 per month or more depending on circumstances. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so it is important to check the current figures directly with ECDA at ecda.gov.sg before making financial plans. Note that subsidy eligibility also depends on the centre holding an ECDA licence — confirm this with Little Paddington directly before enrolment.
Infant care places in Singapore are in high demand, and it is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date — sometimes longer for popular centres. January is a peak intake month, as many families align enrolment with the start of the calendar year. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, so it is worth clarifying Little Paddington's specific process when you make contact. Ask directly about current vacancies for the age group and month you need, as availability changes frequently. Reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form is the quickest way to check whether a slot is open for your child.
