When you make contact — via phone or the enquiry form — ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine structure, and the settling-in period for very young children. It is also worth confirming whether ECDA subsidies are applicable for Singapore citizen infants, as these can meaningfully reduce monthly out-of-pocket costs for eligible families. A centre visit before enrolment will help you assess the environment and meet the care team directly.

Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

We first fell in love with the bright, airy classrooms and spaces at Little Seeds Preschool (St Hilda’s Church), as well as the private garden that gives children endless opportunities for outdoor exploration — from mud play, water play to growing their own fruits and vegetables. The facilities are clean, new, and thoughtfully designed to create a safe and joyful environment for learning and exploring. We have found the teachers to be kind, caring and responsive, and we’ve seen our daughter grow in confidence and character since joining. She looks forward to school every day and we have no regrets sending her to Little Seeds (SHC). We are truly grateful to have found this wonderful faith-based preschool community. Kudos to Ms Winnie and all the dedicated and loving teachers at Little Seeds (SHC)!
Lovely environment for the little ones to learn and play. Classrooms are clean, spacious with lots of natural light. School staff are professional and warm. Highly recommend this school for parents who are looking for a nurturing learning environment for their children.
We love Little Seeds preschool! Our child is always excited to go and comes home full of stories about what they learned and did. One of the best parts is their beautiful outdoor garden — our child loves spending time outside, exploring nature and learning through play. It’s such a warm, happy place where children can grow, learn, and stay connected to the natural world. The teachers are super kind and really care about little ones. We feel lucky to have found it!
I had been looking for the right preschool for my toddler for quite a while, and I’m so glad I chose this one. The values they teach and the thoughtful program really align with what I was hoping for. What I appreciate most is the warmth of the teachers — they genuinely care and create such a nurturing atmosphere. The school also has a lovely outdoor playground and a little yard, which my son enjoys so much.
Teachers have been very patient with my littlest when she started playgroup last Nov :) They have been so kind and patient towards her and the transition took faster than expected. Hygiene is great too. Great Christian songs and prayer too! God bless the school :)

Little Seeds Preschool is priced in the mid-range tier for Singapore infant care, indicated by the $$ display. Exact monthly fees are best confirmed directly with the centre, as published rates can vary by age group and full-day versus half-day enrolment. Beyond the base monthly fee, families should also ask about a one-time registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms or personal accident insurance. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly rate should be the amount you pay. ECDA subsidies, where applicable, are applied on top of these fees and can reduce your net cost significantly. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in infant care may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month, subject to the centre being an ECDA-licensed operator. Working mothers employed for 56 hours or more per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy provides further means-tested support, with combined assistance potentially reaching up to S$710 per month depending on household income. Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at reduced quantum. Kindergarten Financial Assistance Scheme (KiFAS) applies to kindergarten programmes rather than infant care. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are subject to change, so it is strongly advisable to check the current figures directly with ECDA at www.ecda.gov.sg before making enrolment decisions. Confirm with Little Seeds Preschool whether the centre is ECDA-licensed, as this determines subsidy eligibility for your child.
Infant care places in Singapore are among the most competitive in the childcare sector, and popular centres can fill slots six to twelve months in advance. As a general guide, families are advised to begin enquiring at least three to six months before the intended start date, with January being a peak intake month when many families simultaneously seek placements. To secure a place once offered, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. This is not always refundable if you subsequently withdraw, so confirm the terms before committing. Contact Little Seeds Preschool directly by phone or via the enquiry form to ask about current vacancy status for your child's intended start month, as availability changes frequently and cannot be reliably inferred from online listings.
