About Little Unicorn Preschool

About Little Unicorn Preschool

Little Unicorn Preschool is a KakiList-verified childcare and infant care provider located at 339 Anchorvale Road, Sengkang, with coverage across Singapore. The centre holds a 5-star Google rating, though this is based on 19 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. It is priced at the $$ tier on a monthly recurring basis, consistent with standard childcare fee structures in Singapore.

Families considering infant care at Little Unicorn Preschool are encouraged to enquire early about available slots for their intended start month, as infant care places — particularly for children under 18 months — tend to fill up well in advance. When you reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine for your child's age group, and the settling-in period policy. It is also worth asking about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce monthly fees for Singapore citizens, and whether the centre is registered to administer them.

The clearest next step is to contact Little Unicorn Preschool directly through WhatsApp or phone to check current infant care availability, confirm your preferred start month, and arrange a visit to the centre before making any commitment.

I am at my utmost surprise that the school takes in feedback, work on it and implement immediately. My baby has been attending u icon since Jan this year when he was 3 months old. after he starts solids, I realise that the infant menu has not been changed for a while. Informed Yanzi Laoshi about my concerns in June and here I see the new menu in July ! This is part of the reasons why I choose this school over the others! They take your feedback seriously and react on it immediately! My baby loves going to school, he often ignores me after his teacher takes him over from my arm. Lots of activities too including baby spa, art and craft session, thematic plays etc. most importantly in infant care, what I am looking for are teachers with love(babies daily activities are well taken care of), child friendly environment and a supportive team. They sanitize the surrounding well (thanks to all teachers and cleaner aunty, my baby is so far so good there, no outbreaks fingers cross) put up new hand make toys once the curriculum changed (you can track from the photos uploaded in the APP, baby likes new toys), provide prompt feedback and updates from incharge teachers. These are all plus points that why I choose this school. Also I can feel that the team has a strong bond! Some of them stay far far away but still prefers to be in the team led by ms Elaine! Never regret choosing unicorn for my baby ❤️❤️

We’ve had a wonderful experience at the infant care group. The teachers are incredibly friendly and responsive to our requests, always ensuring open communication and a warm environment. Our daughter seems to truly enjoy her time there with weekly activities and swimspa —she’s always smiling and happy when we pick her up. It’s reassuring to know she’s in a caring and nurturing space where she can learn and grow. Highly recommend here to any parent looking for a supportive and joyful environment for their little one!

Our daughter settled in quickly thanks to the caring teachers and friendly classmates. She's always excited to go in the morning and talks about her day all evening. We're really happy with the school.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Little Unicorn Preschool charge per month?

Little Unicorn Preschool is listed at the $$ price tier on a monthly recurring basis, which is the standard fee model for infant care and childcare centres in Singapore. Exact monthly fees should be confirmed directly with the centre, as rates vary by the child's age group and the number of hours enrolled. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-time registration fee and a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees) payable upon enrolment. Some centres also charge separately for uniform sets and group personal accident insurance. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no GST should be added to the amounts quoted. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at Little Unicorn Preschool?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at an ECDA-licensed centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month for infant care (or S$300 per month for childcare). Working mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy provides further means-tested support, and the combined subsidy can reach up to S$710 per month depending on household income. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are set by ECDA and are subject to revision, so it is important to check the current figures directly on the ECDA website before making financial plans. The centre's admissions staff should also be able to guide you through the subsidy application process at enrolment. Note: subsidies are only applicable at ECDA-licensed centres. Confirm the centre's licence status with ECDA directly, as no licence details are currently listed on this profile.

Is there a waitlist at Little Unicorn Preschool?

Infant care places in Singapore are among the most competitive in the childcare sector, and popular centres can fill slots six to twelve months ahead of the intended start date. Even for less oversubscribed centres, enquiring three to six months in advance is strongly advisable — particularly if you are targeting a January start, which is the peak intake month aligned with the school calendar. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which together reserve the slot. Current availability at Little Unicorn Preschool is best confirmed by contacting the centre directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. Early enquiry gives you the most flexibility on start month and allows time to arrange a centre visit before committing.
