Overdue review. LK Bros correctly assessed that it was not worth the extra cost and time for me to do a pressure test as their visual inspection showed a major leak at the compressor. They did an express service to replace the compressor, room units and piping the very next day. The full installation was well done in one day. The three technicians sent down were all experienced and little time was wasted. The same night, the new air-con was used and it ran flawlessly. The price charged was reasonable and the customer service excellent. The technicians even cleaned up the air-con ledge area of bird droppings. I give 4-stars instead of five-stars only because they were a no show the next working day. But did not inform me of the cancellation due to delay at another site. They had informed that a man will come the next working day to patch the holes cut into the false ceiling to run the new piping. I waited and waited. He did not appear till the following day, and only after some hasty arrangements. There was no call from LK to inform of the delay. Having said this, the workmanship to patch the ceiling was excellent. Cannot discern the repaired part from the original.

I have used this company before with an acceptable experience, but my most recent aircon servicing on 6 February was very disappointing. The first technician rushed the servicing, spending less than 5 minutes on only one aircon unit and was using really dirty cloth. When I asked whether proper cleaning and checks had been done, he responded in a rude and defensive manner, stating that completing the job quickly was his “ability.” Instead of explaining the work carried out, he became confrontational and stated that he did not want to continue servicing my other 2 aircon and would ask someone else to do it. He reinstalled internal components while they were still dripping wet, without allowing them to drain or wipe dry and without conducting proper checks afterward. When questioned, he replied “ just wash of course it will drip water”. This raised serious concerns about workmanship and professionalism. After I contacted the company and complained, replacement technicians were sent down, but they arrived without being briefed on the issue and without the necessary equipment. Only after I explained the whole issue again, then they left to retrieve the proper tools and return to complete the job. The later technicians (Nelsen) were polite and professional, but the overall coordination and service recovery process was poor. This experience suggests inconsistent standards between technicians and weak internal communication. I hope the company improves quality control, briefing, and professionalism, especially when handling customer feedback.
