Families enquiring about lessons should first consider level and syllabus fit — whether the learner is a complete beginner, working towards ABRSM or Trinity College London examinations, or pursuing a particular instrument or genre. It is worth asking whether lessons are offered in a group setting or as one-to-one tuition, as both formats carry different pacing and costs. Confirming the term commitment structure, any materials or instrument requirements, and whether in-person or online sessions are available will help set expectations before enrolment.
To take the next step, reach out to LVL Music Academy via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability, request details on lesson formats and fees, and arrange a trial class to assess fit before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Bought my first ever handmade violin at LVL Music Academy which is really pretty and it sounds great. During my visit, I was attended by Gavin which is a very friendly guy and are knowledgeable on the instruments. The whole event feels very comfortable and not rushing just to get you to buy the instrument. Im also getting a chance to try other high quality violins even and they all sounds amazing in its unique way. Overall is an amazing experience and hope i had the chance to revisit and upgrade my violin in the future.
Found LVL Music Academy while in the area after seeing all the great reviews, so I brought my old violin for repair. Luthier Mr. Alan was really incredibly patient, attentive, and kind. He explained everything clearly The repair was done beautifully; my violin looks and sounds amazing again after years of neglect. He even took the time to teach me how to tune my violin, which I truly appreciated! Staff, Cong also attended to me during collection and was very helpful, patiently answering all my questions. Overall, a really pleasant and satisfying experience. I truly appreciate their care and passion. Highly recommend! Thank you! 😁🎻✨
My preparations of ABRSM Violin examinations in LVL Music Academy have been an amazingly successful and enjoyable experience. Since preparing for my Grade 7 Violin performance and Music Theory examinations from 2023 to 2024, I have been working together with passionate and dedicated teachers to aid on my violin techniques, as well as the historical and cultural elements of music. This has allowed me to gain the relevant skills and knowledge to achieve a Merit for both examinations. Additionally, the annual group orchestral performances organised by the school allowed me to have the opportunity to meet with likeminded individuals, as well as to improve my teamwork and leadership skills. These opportunities also enabled me to perform a solo performance which drastically improved my performance and expression on stage. Progressing towards the Grade 8 Violin examination from 2024 to 2025, I have learned more difficult and complex techniques on the violin. Despite the challenges, the patient and understanding teachers have helped me along the journey to improve my hand-eye coordination, dexterity and ability to keep a composed and expressive mind during the performance. Amazingly, I have successfully achieved a Distinction for the examination! I feel extremely delighted and proud of my achievement and would like to express my appreciation and gratitude towards all LVL Teachers and Staff for giving me the determination and confidence to continue on the journey despite setbacks. Overall, LVL Music Academy has given me the best experience of learning the violin in a conducive and supportive environment, and would use the knowledge and skills learnt in the future with the beautiful instrument of the violin. Thank you so much Teachers and Staff! — Clef How

As a general guide, music tuition in Singapore typically ranges from S$30–S$80 per session for group classes and S$60–S$150 or more per session for one-to-one lessons, depending on the instrument, the tutor's experience, and the lesson duration. Ask whether a materials fee, music book purchase, or examination entry fee applies separately. Trial class fees, if any, are worth clarifying upfront. Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial class or introductory lesson before a term commitment is required. It is worth confirming with LVL Music Academy whether a trial is available, whether it is complimentary or charged at the standard session rate, and what the format will be. A trial class is a useful opportunity to assess whether the teaching style suits the learner's age and personality, whether the level is appropriately matched, and whether the learner feels engaged and comfortable with the tutor. For younger children especially, initial engagement is a strong indicator of long-term motivation. Come prepared with the learner's current level, any prior lessons or grades achieved, and the instrument of interest so the school can match you to the most suitable tutor.
Specific tutor qualifications for LVL Music Academy are not listed in the available data. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each tutor's formal music education, any performance or teaching experience, and whether they are familiar with the specific examination syllabus your child is working towards — such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or LCM. For learners preparing for graded examinations, syllabus alignment matters considerably. A tutor with direct experience preparing students for the relevant board's practical and theory requirements will be better placed to guide exam preparation effectively. If credentials are important to your decision, ask LVL Music Academy directly for tutor profiles or bios before committing to a term.
