Life is a beautiful journey, unfolding in moments both fleeting and eternal. Within these walls, peace and serenity quietly dwell. Silence becomes a companion, inviting stillness and gentle remembrance. In this quiet space, hearts reflect, and love continues beyond time. Peaceful and serene. A place to die for.

A place of sadness 😔as well as happy memories of the past. Each one of us came to this wonderful world with NOTHING and leave this beautiful world with absolutely NOTHING. Thank you GOD for giving us the opportunity to experience mankind 🙏

Life is uncertain but Death is certain. It’s the first day of 2025 but it’s the last day for my uncle here on Earth…. The Mandai Crematorium is a nice, clean and peaceful place to be cremated. May he Rest In Peace eternally. May the living make full use of our remaining time on Earth. ** ( no paper offerings are burned for my uncle as he is a Christian. The burning of paper offerings for deceased loved ones is a Chinese folk belief; hence True Followers of Jesus, Buddha and Lao Tze do not follow this tradition and burn paper offerings ).

A quiet and peaceful place to visit your fallen loved ones. Nearest bus stop is around 7 to 10 mins walk to Block I. There is only 1 bus which is 171. Toilet and area is surprisingly clean and well maintained on 28/1/24

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium charge?

Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium does not publicly list a fixed price schedule, and costs vary depending on the type of service selected. For context, individual cremation in Singapore typically ranges from S$250–800 depending on the size of the pet or, for human cremation services, costs are governed by separate schedules under the National Environment Agency (NEA). Families should request a full written itemisation covering cremation fees, urn or niche selection, columbarium placement or rental, and any optional memorial services before confirming the arrangement. Confirm all charges in writing, including any disbursements or administrative fees, before proceeding.

What is the difference between cremation and columbarium placement at Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium?

Cremation is the process by which remains are reduced to ashes, while columbarium placement refers to the long-term housing of the urn in a niche within the columbarium facility. These are typically two separate services with separate fees — cremation is a one-time procedure, whereas a columbarium niche involves an ongoing licence or rental arrangement, often for a fixed term of 15 or more years. Families should clarify the niche licence period, renewal terms, and what happens at the end of the licence before committing. Some families choose to retrieve ashes for home placement or scattering rather than purchasing a niche.

How do I arrange services with Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium?

You can contact Mandai Crematorium & Columbarium by phone or through their online enquiry form. For time-sensitive arrangements, a direct phone call is recommended. When you get in touch, be prepared to provide relevant documentation, including the death certificate and any identity documents required for registration. It is advisable to ask about scheduling availability, the full sequence of steps involved, and what documentation or decisions are needed from the family before the day of cremation. Clarifying the timeline early helps avoid unnecessary delays during what is already a difficult period.
