Families interested in securing a place should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care places are in high demand and waitlists can extend several months ahead. When you contact MapleBear, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine structure, and the settling-in process for new babies. It is also worth discussing the centre visit arrangements so you can see the environment firsthand, and asking about eligibility for ECDA subsidies if your child holds Singapore citizenship.
To take the next step, reach out to MapleBear directly via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current vacancy for your intended start month and to arrange a centre visit.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Maplebear Mount Emily has been the best 4 years for Zane. It truly feels like a second home and not just a school. We never had to worry about Zane’s learning ability in school as all activities conducted in school are done fantastic well by his teachers. At the end of the day, he always goes home with a BIG SMILE. He is definitely going to miss this place when he goes to P1 next year. Lastly, I need to say that everyone in Maplebear Mount Emily definitely goes beyond the minimum in all aspects! I appreciate the commitment from all the teachers and principal.
We have enjoyed the school so much. The school has outdoor playground and every day different activity: gardening, water play, tricycle, slide. Once a week they go to the park nearby and also have a musical class! My son learned a lot during the time at school. School atmosphere is welcoming and calm. Highly recommend!
Great environment - attentive teachers, good class sizes, and lots of effort made for some cool school outings. My kid was very happy here.
We have been thrilled with our experience at Maple bear Mount Emily. Our children, who are now 3 and 5 years old, have been attending since they were just 18 months and we couldn't be happier with the nurturing and stimulating environment they provide. Teachers are incredibly caring, going the extra mile to make sure the kids feel loved and they are continously encouraging creativity and exploration. Couldn't believe my child was already writing and reading by age 4! We higlhy recommend Maple Bear to any parent looking for a holistic curriculum and wonderful experience.
Two of our children have gone to this school and we would recommend it. Our oldest child has also previously attended another Montessori school in the area and we would definitely recommend MapleBear instead of the other preschool. The teachers at MapleBear Mt Emily are exceptional and extremely caring. Our children have learnt so much and the school continues to provide interesting learning experiences. The staff organise events which celebrate the diversity in the school and we are so grateful that our children have grown up in this multicultural and inclusive environment.

MapleBear is priced in the mid-range ($$) for Singapore infant care, which typically means monthly fees in the range of S$1,500–S$2,500 before subsidies, though you should confirm the exact figure directly with the centre. In addition to the monthly fee, most infant care centres charge a one-time registration fee and a deposit equivalent to roughly one to two months of fees. Ask whether uniform, insurance, and consumables such as diapers or formula are included or billed separately. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly rate should be the amount you pay. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in a licensed infant care centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month. Working mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may also qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS), which provides additional support. Lower-income families may further qualify for the Additional Subsidy, with the combined Basic Subsidy and WMS potentially reaching up to S$710 per month depending on household income. Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at a lower quantum than citizens. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are set by ECDA and are subject to change, so always verify the current figures directly with ECDA or via the LifeSG portal before making financial decisions. MapleBear can advise on the subsidy application process once a place is confirmed.
Infant care places in Singapore are among the most sought-after in the early childhood sector, and popular centres can have waitlists stretching three to twelve months or longer. January is typically the peak intake month, so if your child is due or you are planning a return to work around that period, it is advisable to enquire as early as possible — ideally four to six months before your intended start date. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit at the point of offer. Contact MapleBear directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability and the process for joining the waitlist for your preferred start month.
