I asked Mark to change the entire lock the very moment he stepped into the house. He proceeded to unlock the door, after which, asked me if I want to change the lock. I said yes, because that's exactly what I requested from the beginning. At the end of the service, I was shocked that he charged me SGD 140. SGD 80 for changing the lock, which is reasonable, and another SGD 60 for unlocking the door. I didn't ask him to unlock the door, yet he charged me for that. I was very upset but passed him SGD 140 as I was alone at home and just wanted him gone after realising that he is trying to rip me off and felt very unsafe. It is not right. Please return my SGD 60. If you are a potential customer of Mark's services, there are so many locksmiths in Singapore. It is better to find someone honest and upfront, rather than charging you extra after performing the service you don't want.
