About Mentalmatics
Mentalmatics is an enrichment class provider operating islandwide across Singapore. The business is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, offering a degree of accountability that parents can check independently. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 across 65 reviews — a moderate sample that points positively but should be read alongside a direct conversation with the provider. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session or monthly fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed on enquiry.
Parents considering Mentalmatics would typically begin by enquiring about the level and syllabus fit for their child — particularly whether the programme aligns with the relevant primary, secondary, or enrichment curriculum. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and price. A trial class is the standard way to assess whether the teaching style suits your child before committing to a term. Do also clarify whether sessions are held at the Bukit Batok Street 31 centre, at other islandwide locations, or online, and what the policy is around make-up lessons for absences.
To get started, reach out to Mentalmatics via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on their profile. Ask about current availability for your child's level, confirm trial class arrangements, and request the full term fee and materials costs in writing before committing.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Quite satisfied with Mentalmatics Bukit Batok. Teachers Sam and William are skilled in their topics, and know how to engage the participants, without compromising class discipline. The learning environment is quite and conducive during my children's sessions. The children also appreciate the reward system, which keeps them continually interested and motivated.
My son has been with the centre for a few years and he has improved tremendously from being in LSM (P1) to getting minimally 80%-90% for his math papers in school. The teachers are very passionate and they really teach to see results and improvements. Please do not expect them to be soft on your kids because they are very stern. Plus point: Mentalmatics is probably one of the few centres who would take time to stay back after every class to speak to each and every parents to give updates on your child. Teacher Wei Ming (and I see the other teachers too) also works closely with the parents to update them on the lessons and show them how things are being taught. Tried so many enrichment centres before but mentalmatics is one that is no-nonsense and works well for my kid. Highly recommended.
I asked about the abacus because I want to reduce my 3-year-old daughter's screen time on YouTube Kids. I discovered Mentalmatics through a Google search, and I was really impressed by the admin team's positive response in allowing my daughter to join a trial class with no obligation. Time has flown by—she’s been attending classes every Sunday for the past six months! A huge thank you to teachers William, Sam, and Ayton for your patience, love, care, and guidance with her.
Teachers were very attentive and patient. Especially teacher Sam he would update me every lesson the progress of my son and and what we need to assist. A very patient and experience teacher who handle kids well. Appreciate!
I enrolled my daughter in MentalMatics for abacus classes, as I wanted her to develop strong mental math skills. Teacher William has been an exceptional educator—his enthusiasm, humor, and engaging teaching style make learning fun and interactive for the children. My daughter tends to get easily distracted, but under his guidance, she remains focused and engaged throughout the lessons. What truly sets Teacher William apart is his ability to challenge each child at their own level, ensuring that they are always progressing. He also provides regular updates on my child's progress and takes the time to teach me useful methods to reinforce learning at home, which has been incredibly helpful and insightful. I deeply appreciate Teacher William’s professionalism, dedication, and joyful demeanor—he is truly a gem! MentalMatics is fortunate to have such a passionate and skilled teacher. Highly recommended!

Mentalmatics has not publicly listed its per-session or monthly fees, so you will need to enquire directly for current pricing. In the Singapore enrichment market, group classes typically run from S$30–80 per session depending on subject, group size, and level, while one-to-one sessions generally start from S$60–120 per hour. Some providers charge by the term rather than per session, and a separate materials or registration fee may apply. Ask whether a sibling discount or package rate is available if you are enrolling more than one child or committing to a full term. Confirm whether there is a fee for the trial class. Most enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class, either at a reduced rate or at the standard per-session fee, before asking families to commit to a full term. It is worth confirming with Mentalmatics directly whether this option is available and what the trial class costs. When attending a trial, look at whether the class level is appropriate for your child, whether the pace allows for questions and engagement, and whether the teaching approach suits how your child learns. A single session gives a reasonable first impression, but one lesson may not reflect the full programme — do ask the teacher about their typical class structure and how progress is tracked.
Specific tutor credentials for Mentalmatics are not publicly listed at this time. When enquiring, parents should ask directly about the teaching team's educational background, whether any tutors hold NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, and how long each teacher has been with the programme. For enrichment classes in Singapore, it is also useful to confirm which syllabuses the teaching team is familiar with — for example, MOE PSLE, GCE O-Level, IB, or IGCSE — depending on your child's school track. If syllabus alignment is important to you, request this information before booking a trial class or committing to a term.
