On behalf of my family, we would like to thank the SFS team led by Stoney for their professional guidance and excellent service during the recent wake and funeral of our late mother. At the preliminary meeting, Stoney provided us a clear explanation of the various packages and options to consider given some constraints in our situation. She guided us step-by-step on what to prepare and expect, and the decisions we have to make, so that we were not overwhelmed. She also prepared regular notes to guide us on what to prepare on a daily basis. We deeply appreciated Stoney’s consistently prompt responses to our numerous queries even late into the night. Thanks to Stoney and her dedicated team members, we felt very much assured that things would go smoothly in their capable hands. They are highly compassionate, experienced and professional and we would strongly recommend them.
Generally, we are satisfied with Singapore Funeral Services for the services rendered to my mother's wake and funeral over the 5 days. Their staffs knew their roles well and handled their job professionally.. They are able to accede to our requests most of the time swiftly and accordingly ie. the extra tables and chairs on day 2 n 3, PA system, and ncense papers on day 4 , etc. Overall, the wake and funeral were well carried out and our sincere appreciation goes to Gérard and his team.

I would especially like to thank Stoney for her immense patience and care from the time we approached her to make the funeral arrangements through to the final journey for my Daddy to arrive at his resting place - The Garden of Peace. Thank you to all of you who made us feel assured and comforted during this tough period of mourning.

MFS Funeral Services lists pricing at a mid-range tier ($$), but specific package costs are not published. Funeral service costs in Singapore vary widely depending on the religious or cultural tradition, the number of wake days, venue, and whether cremation or burial is chosen. A basic package may start from around S$2,000–3,500, while full-service arrangements with multiple wake days can run S$8,000–20,000 or more before disbursements. Key line items to clarify in writing include: body collection and preparation fees, wake logistics and tentage, hearse, cremation or burial fees (NEA or church/cemetery rates), death certificate and administrative disbursements, and any add-ons such as floral arrangements, catering, or live-streaming. GST may apply depending on the billing structure — confirm this when requesting a quote. See the full funeral services cost guide for Singapore →
Comprehensive funeral providers in Singapore typically handle body collection from the hospital or home, preparation and dressing, wake setup (void deck, funeral parlour, or home), religious rites coordination, hearse, and arrangements for cremation at an NEA-managed crematorium or burial at a designated cemetery. Confirm with MFS Funeral Services which of these are included in the quoted package and which require separate engagement. For Muslim families, funeral arrangements follow specific timelines and rites coordinated with the mosque — clarify whether MFS has experience with Islamic funeral requirements. For Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, and Catholic services, ask about the religious items, monks or clergy coordination, and the number of wake nights included. Death registration with the Registry of Births and Deaths is a mandatory administrative step — confirm whether MFS handles this on the family's behalf.
MFS Funeral Services has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed operating details and contact channels. The provider holds a 4.9/5 rating across 184 Google reviews, which is a robust sample and a meaningful positive signal. No ACRA registration or regulatory licence details are currently on record for this listing, so families should request the business registration number and confirm it independently. Funeral services in Singapore are not subject to a mandatory sector-specific licence in the way that healthcare or maid agencies are, but reputable providers are generally ACRA-registered businesses. The absence of ACRA confirmation here warrants a direct check before proceeding. Request a written itemised quote and confirm the business registration details before making any payment.
