MoneySmart Singapore covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. They're ACRA-registered under 201731029D and have been verified by KakiList, which adds a layer of accountability beyond anonymous review aggregators. Google reviewers currently give MoneySmart Singapore a solid average of 4.4/5 across 2101 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a property provider.
For a realistic quote from MoneySmart Singapore, send a brief description of the work on WhatsApp — include your area, property type, and when you'd like the job done. Because KakiList doesn't sit between you and the provider, quotes tend to come back quickly and without boilerplate upselling.
My card was applied in Dec 2025 and the platform said that it takes 4 to 5 months for the eligbility to be verified. I wrote to Moneysmart in July (> 4-5 months timeline that Moneysmart had indicated) and somehow my reward was validated within a day. If I had forgotten about my application, I wonder if I would have ever received the money. It took 7 months from card application to final receipt of payment. Take note everyone!
Long waiting time to confirm my application. When I applied it mentioned I should get my gift 5 months from the date I applied. I followed up 3 times in total and was informed that I will receive my reward confirmation at the end of 5th month. On the 6th June nothing was received. Followed up and was informed my application was part of the next batch even though I applied the previous batch. Finally got my confirmation on my 6th month. However, item deliver requires another 21 days. The process is way too long compared to Sing Saver. The customer service officer was prompt to response. If they could give timely updates and conducting proper checks, it should avoid escalation.
Very terrible experience. Waited 6 months to get confirmation on the points only to be told the iPad is out of stock and another 4 to 6 weeks more is required. In the midst of it. So much lack of information from moneysmart first directing me to clarify with the bank regarding my promo after I got the banks confirmation, moneysmart still can't give me an exact timeline of when the rewards will be ready. Keep giving me standard replies like it's according to promotion timeline. So vague. Probably must last time trying it out. Singsaver might be better. Won't recommend to friends. Isn't it odd to have an item out of stock after committing to someone for more than 6 months? They are bringing this business strategy to the extreme by promising a trendy product that will be less trendy by the time it reaches your hand. If it is still trendy, they can still make it out of stock. Brilliant...
Are you xxxx kidding me? Can anyhow raise cost for redemption? I am very disappointed with my experience with MoneySmart’s card reward redemption. I applied for a credit card reward and was awarded 6,140 points, which at the time appeared to be enough to redeem an iPad. Based on that, I proceeded with the application and reward claim. However, after my claim was approved today, I went to the redemption store and found that the points required to redeem the iPad had suddenly become 7,440 points. I was then asked to top up money in order to redeem the iPad. This makes me feel misled as a consumer. If the required points could change after approval, or if a top-up was required, this should have been clearly communicated before I applied and submitted the reward claim. Customers should not be encouraged to complete an application based on one reward expectation, only to face a different redemption requirement later. What disappoints me further is that the terms and conditions appear to be written very flexibly, giving the company the final right of explanation and allowing them to cover themselves legally. From a customer’s point of view, this feels unfair because consumers may rely on the reward shown at the time of application, but later face a different redemption requirement after completing all the steps. In my opinion, this kind of reward process lacks transparency and creates a poor customer experience. It gives the impression that the policy can be adjusted after the customer has already committed. I hope MoneySmart can provide a clear explanation and a fair resolution for customers affected by this kind of situation. I expected a transparent and reliable reward process, but this experience has made me lose confidence in the platform.
Same issue with most of the negative comments; long processing and waiting time. Do not trust the indicate timeline for the promotion as those seldom happen. I submitted my claim on 30 September 2025 and the status is still "Validating gift qualification". It was to the point that I forgot about it and only remembered to check recently. It seems like their plan is for users to forget about their 'gifts' so that they would not need to fulfil them.
