About Mosaic Preschool

About Mosaic Preschool

Mosaic Preschool is a KakiList-verified childcare and infant care provider located at 168 Changi Rd, #05-01, Singapore 419730, with coverage islandwide. The centre holds a 4.9-star rating on Google across 14 reviews — a promising signal, though the sample size is small and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Fees are priced at a mid-range level ($$) on a monthly recurring basis.

Families considering Mosaic Preschool would typically begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as infant care places in Singapore are in high demand and can fill many months in advance. It is worth scheduling a centre visit to meet the caregiving team, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, understand the daily routine, and learn about the settling-in period for younger children. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully offset monthly fees depending on household income and the mother's employment status.

To take the next step, contact Mosaic Preschool directly via phone or the enquiry form on their listing to check current infant care vacancy and arrange a centre visit.

Mosaic IFC is patient with our little miracle baby and also us as new parents. The assurance, patience and warmth won our hearts and made us at peace when we started working. Special shout out to Chen Lao Shi, who is always sending positive vibes and energy, Zhang Lao Shi being patient and attentive, Ms Raj for her warmth and care, Ms Lilian for her patience and professionalism. It does takes a village to care for the kids, but Mosaic team work made it possible for every child to grow and learn conducively. Give the teachers a raise! They deserve every penny. It’s not easy handling precious children let alone all the parents with many questions everyday. ❤️❤️ Thank you teachers and Lao Shi!

The school offers a variety of enrichment classes, such as music and coding, which the children really enjoy. Outside the first floor, there is a playground where they can also play with water. The teachers are very polite as well. However, there is one thing I strongly disagree with. When my child was hit by another child, the teacher told me that my child should first learn to protect himself and avoid being bullied by other children. I think it’s unrealistic to expect a child of such a young age to recognize when another child is about to hit him and then avoid being hurt! In my opinion, children should be taught from a young age not to solve problems by bullying or hitting others, rather than making the victim learn how to quickly recognize danger and avoid being hit. I find this approach unacceptable! If that were the case, then the crime of intentional injury would cease to exist in this world—because all the victims would have managed to dodge in time. Thanks.

I have a daughter who is currently a student here and the most immediate thing you notice is that the various carers and teachers love working with children and care for the children. The infectious energy rubs off on the children and most of the children have a playful demeanor that is what we hope to see at their age. The school has also put in a lot of effort to engage the parents, keeping us up to date with my daughter's progress, even sharing cute little anecdotes of their little quirks in school. Facilities wise is immaculate and clean. Effort is also made to ensure that the children have outdoor play time regularly to breathe in some fresh air and to get some exercise in. All in all, I am glad I chose Mosaic for my daughter and I'm sure she is very happy there too.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Mosaic Preschool charge per month?

Mosaic Preschool operates on a monthly recurring fee model, positioned at a mid-range price point ($$) for the Singapore childcare market. Infant care fees at private and operator-run centres in Singapore typically range from S$1,500 to S$2,800 per month before subsidies, though you should confirm the exact figure directly with the centre. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about any one-time registration fee, a refundable deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and costs for items such as uniforms and group insurance. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the amount quoted should be the amount you pay. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at Mosaic Preschool?

Singapore citizen children enrolled in an ECDA-licensed infant care centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month. Working mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may also qualify for the Additional Working Mother Child Care Subsidy on top of this. For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy provides further means-tested support, with combined subsidy amounts potentially reaching up to S$710 per month or more depending on circumstances. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies, though at lower rates than citizens. Subsidy eligibility and quantum are subject to change, and the figures above are indicative only — visit the ECDA website directly for current rates and to check whether Mosaic Preschool is an ECDA-licensed operator, which is a requirement for subsidy claims. Note that Mosaic Preschool's regulatory licences have not been confirmed in this listing, so it is important to verify ECDA licensure with the centre before assuming subsidies apply.

Is there a waitlist at Mosaic Preschool?

Infant care places are among the most competitive in Singapore's childcare sector. Parents are generally advised to begin enquiring three to twelve months ahead of their intended start date, with popular centres filling up even earlier. January is the peak intake month, as it aligns with the start of the school year, but mid-year vacancies do arise. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which may be forfeited if the offer is declined after a certain point. Given the limited review data available for Mosaic Preschool, it is not possible to confirm current waitlist length from this listing alone. Contact Mosaic Preschool directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your preferred start month and to understand the registration process.
