Before attending, consider noting your pet's size, breed, and temperament, as well as any known health conditions or behavioural sensitivities that the veterinary team should be aware of. You can reach the centre by phone or through the online enquiry form to confirm appointment availability, discuss your pet's specific needs, and ask about relevant services. You know you’re in good hands when the nurses and doctors are genuinely passionate about what they do. From the moment we arrived, they were patient, attentive, and never dismissive in any way — which was something I truly appreciated, especially after past experiences elsewhere. They took the time to walk me through Snoopy’s surgery and carefully explained all the aftercare steps, making sure every question we had was answered. The care and gentleness they showed towards Snoopy meant a lot to us, and it was clear that his well-being was always their top priority. I would also like to personally thank Dr Jane Chan for being such a sweetheart throughout the entire process. She was incredibly reassuring, addressed all our concerns patiently, and always had Snoopy’s long-term health in mind — something I deeply appreciated. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated care for their pets. 🐾💛
I’ve been bringing my dog to the Bedok branch for years and have always been very happy with the staff and doctors’ service. Today I’m writing a review because I brought my dog to the clinic after my dog was attacked by another dog. We called them and they gave timely advice and were able to accommodate us immediately without an appointment. The staff treated my dog with so much patience and kindness, and even offered me antiseptic wash for my bite wound while we waited for our consultation. Thank you Mount Pleasant Bedok for the care and hard work ❤️
Dr Jane who saw my cat was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions, making sure I fully understood the treatment plan and any necessary medications. I was impressed with their ability to communicate complex medical information in a way that was easy to understand but still thorough. Throughout the appointment, I felt like my cat was in good hands, and I was grateful for the care and attention given to their needs. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top care for their pets. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the clinic is clean and welcoming, and the quality of care is second to none. Thank you for an excellent experience!
We had our dog Rusty neutered by Dr Jane. It was a breeze. Dr Jane even wanted to monitor Rusty a little longer than expected, she also makes it a point to feed Rusty with treats after every visit to make it a pleasant experience for Rusty. We were so happy we didn't check the bill. Guess what, we went back for kennel cough and she ran Rusty's records and saw that we were being charged for spay. She immediately pointed this out that refunded us without us knowing or even asking. This was a few months later too. Appreciate the honesty and professionalism. Rusty thoroughly enjoys visits and treats!
We would like to say A Big THANK YOU for your patience, compassion and professionalism in taking care of our beloved Rocky (15) & beloved Candy (16). A special mention to our furkids awesome regular senior vet - Dr Chan Mun Ling. She is very caring, friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious. She always provided me with detailed information on rocky and candy during each visit. She also shared with me a lot of good advice. She took very good care of them for the past 15-16 years since they were just puppies. Big thanks to Dr Jane Teo, Dr Lee yanyi and Dr Michelle Low who took care of them when Dr Chan was not on duty. All the vets had provided appropriate treatments and stabilised their condition everytime. They always strive to treat our furkids to the best of their abilities so that they are well again. I always feel at ease as the Vet technician Rodarick and Tricia, vet nurses Shuyin,Jia En and Yiping were always gentle and careful when handling them for bloodtest, skin scrape, x-ray, injection, medication and treatments. Dedication and excellent customer service is also seen from the receptionist staff Jasmine, Portia and selina who will calls 1 day in advance to inform me of their upcoming appointments. Staff were also very detailed to go through the prescription everytime when I am back to replenish the long term medications or any necessary visit at the clinic for my furkids. ** especially grateful to Dr Chan and vet technician Rodarick for assisting Dr Chan in the emergency dental procedure for candy on 5th March '22 when her decayed teeths erupted and she bleeded till anemia which was life-threatening to her - Due to her old age with nine existing illnesses since 2008 and the high risk of the surgery. We are still very thankful to her regular vet Dr Chan Mun Ling,Rodarick and the whole team of staff of Mount Pleasant Animal Medical Centre (Bedok) who took great care of candy during her post dental surgery hospitalisation at the clinic till she was stable and fit enough to be discharged on 6th March '22. She celebrated her sweet 16 with us on 16th March '22 (no more regrets.) Our little Candy passed on peacefully at home on 3rd April '22. ANOTHER BIG BIG HUG AND THANK YOU to all the vets, vet technicians, nurses and staffs. You all made a great and dedicated team!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Veterinary consultation fees at clinics in Singapore typically range from around S$30 to S$80 for a standard consultation, with costs varying depending on the nature of the visit, the size and species of your pet, and any diagnostics, medications, or procedures required. Common add-ons include blood panels, vaccinations, X-rays, dental scaling, and prescription treatments, each of which carries a separate charge. For mobile or home-visit services, a transport surcharge may apply, though Mount Pleasant Veterinary Centre (Bedok) operates from a fixed clinic location. It is advisable to request a written breakdown of fees before proceeding with any non-emergency treatment so you can plan accordingly. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly required for dogs that attend boarding or daycare facilities, as it is highly transmissible in group settings. For cats, the FVRCP combination (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard, along with rabies where applicable. Most clinics and boarding facilities in Singapore require proof that vaccinations are current, generally within the past 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or records when attending any appointment. If your pet's vaccinations are overdue, the clinic can advise on a catch-up schedule during your visit.
Veterinary practices in Singapore operate under the oversight of the National Parks Board (NParks) and its Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) division, which licenses veterinary clinics and registers practising veterinarians. Facilities offering boarding services are additionally required to hold an AVS boarding licence. Pet owners are encouraged to confirm that the practising veterinarian is registered with AVS before proceeding with treatment. With regard to insurance, it is worth asking the clinic directly about their protocol in the event that a pet experiences an adverse reaction or incident during a procedure. If you have a pet insurance policy, check whether consultations and treatments at this clinic are covered under your plan. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
