Brought our dying Jack Russell here for the last less than a year of his life. Dr Nesh took his time to explain to us what was happening to our baby Don and showed empathy. Maybe if we brought him here sooner he wouldn’t have suffered so much. Though I didn’t feel empathy extended to me by the other doctor, they did not rush us during the day of the euthanasia, which I am so thankful for. We got to spend a little more time with him before we lost him. Thank you Dr Nesh and staff who helped book his appointments. I hope the cremation side can be more efficient and communicate better about what’s inclusive of the price and the transportation service.

Im truly grateful for the customer service by the counter staff and the vet technicians here at Mount Pleasant Vet Yishun!! They are always so professional, prompt and patient with me. Not to mention their valuable skillset & vast knowledge - my toy poodle, BellaJoy was quite prone to ear-infections but ever since the vet technicians here taught me how to properly clean her ears, she hasnt gotten a bad ear infection since! I also absolutely love Dr Nesh & Dr Tricia as well, they have been looking after baby BellaJoy since i got her and they’re TRULY THE BEST!!!! Dr Tricia did an amazing job sterilising Bella 2 years ago, her wound didnt even take long to heal. And Dr Nesh has been so helpful in helping me manage Bella’s sensitive skin and allergies. They are both so empathetic, knowledgeable, kind and gentle towards my furbaby and its always a joy to see either one of them during our routine visits. Thank you for providing me with the reassurance & confidence i need to care for my Bella. Thank you team, for always giving my dog the best care whenever we visit! My family & i are truly grateful and we wholeheartedly appreciate your service to and for us! ❤️

I would like to thank Mount Pleasant Team and especially Dr Gloria for their tender loving care towards my dog, they handled everything with care and professionalism. They have the empathy for animals which are very less known nowadays, all the nurses there are very experienced. When I brought my dog there, I knew she and I are in safe hands. Whenever I had any concerns regarding my dog, they never fail to reply me promptly. They made sure my dog was taken care of, and that they would slot us in during critical moments. My dog recently just passed, but without Dr Gloria. She may not have live long, Dr Gloria is a very experienced veterinarian. When my dog was with her, I knew she was in safe hands. Once again, thank you team and Dr Gloria for the utmost patience and care shown. My dog and my family will always be grateful 🙏🏼

Dear Mount Pleasant Veterinary Group Management, I am writing to formally share my concerns regarding a recent consultation at your clinic, specifically involving Dr. Tricia. My intention in providing this feedback is to highlight areas for improvement and to help ensure that future clients and their pets receive the highest quality of care. There are several veterinarians practicing at your clinic, and it is important for pet owners to be attended by the most suitable and experienced professional. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Dr. Tricia has led to considerable concern regarding her approach and quality of care. My pet was experiencing mild yellow vomiting, and I consulted Dr. Tricia for advice and treatment. She recommended both an oral medication and an injection. I specifically asked her and the attending nurse on three occasions whether there would be any potential side effects from the injection. I was assured that there would be none. However, I had reservations about the treatment plan, as my pet’s condition appeared mild and non-serious. Following the injection, my pet began to experience severe diarrhea — almost every hour — over the next two days, accompanied by loss of appetite. I had to stay awake for two nights to monitor and care for my pet during this period. When I returned to the clinic the following day, I raised my concerns and mentioned that, based on my own research, both the prescribed pill and the injection are known to cause diarrhea as a possible side effect. Instead of investigating the matter further, Dr. Tricia suggested that I consult another veterinarian. She then recommended a stool test, suggesting that the cause might be bacterial; however, the test results showed no signs of bacteria or food poisoning. Dr. Tricia subsequently prescribed another medication. When I asked whether it would help my pet or cause additional side effects, her response was that this was the standard medicine given to dogs with diarrhea and that most dogs do not experience issues. I found this response unsatisfactory and lacking in professional diligence. As a client seeking veterinary expertise, I expected a thorough explanation and evidence-based medical advice rather than general reassurance. It was also disheartening to later read other reviews that raised similar concerns about Dr. Tricia’s consultations. This suggests that such issues may not be isolated, and I would strongly urge the clinic to review her cases to ensure that proper standards of veterinary care are being maintained. I would like to emphasize that my feedback is not intended to discredit Mount Pleasant Veterinary Group as a whole. I acknowledge that there are many capable and dedicated veterinarians within your practice. My purpose in writing is to encourage greater accountability, better quality control, and clearer communication in handling both medical care and client concerns. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback. I hope appropriate actions will be taken to address this matter and to uphold the clinic’s reputation for professional and compassionate veterinary care.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Mount Pleasant Veterinary Centre (Yishun) charge?

Veterinary consultation fees in Singapore typically vary by the type of visit — a standard consultation for a dog or cat generally starts from around S$30–60, with specialist or after-hours visits running higher. Additional costs depend on the services required: diagnostic tests (blood panels, X-rays, urinalysis), vaccinations, medications, and any surgical or dental procedures are usually billed separately on top of the consultation fee. For mobile or home-visit services, a transport surcharge may apply, though this should be confirmed with the clinic directly. It is advisable to ask for an itemised estimate before proceeding with any treatment, particularly for procedures that may involve anaesthesia or hospitalisation. What vaccinations does Mount Pleasant Veterinary Centre (Yishun) require?

For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) and rabies, with bordetella (kennel cough) often required if your dog attends boarding or daycare facilities. For cats, the FVRCP combination (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) is standard, along with rabies where applicable. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current within the past 12 months. If your pet's records are out of date or unavailable, the clinic may recommend starting a vaccination course before proceeding with certain services. Contact Mount Pleasant Veterinary Centre (Yishun) directly to confirm which vaccination records are required for your pet's specific appointment or service.

Is Mount Pleasant Veterinary Centre (Yishun) licensed and insured?

In Singapore, veterinary clinics and the veterinary surgeons practising within them are regulated by the National Parks Board (NParks) under the Veterinary Surgeons Act. Practising veterinary surgeons must be registered with NParks, and you can verify a surgeon's registration status through the NParks public register before your visit. For boarding or grooming services, facilities are required to hold an Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) licence. Mount Pleasant Veterinary Centre (Yishun) has been verified by KakiList, though no specific regulatory licences are listed in this directory entry — it is advisable to confirm the clinic's NParks registration and any applicable AVS licences directly with the centre. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
