Families interested in enrolling should first enquire about whether the curriculum and level are suited to their child's current stage of English — whether that covers primary, secondary, or another level — and how the school aligns with the MOE syllabus or other frameworks. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a term. Confirming the class schedule, location availability, and whether online options exist will help families assess practical fit alongside academic suitability.
To take the next step, reach out to My English School directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about your child's level, request a trial class, and confirm term fees and any materials costs before committing.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Great foundation before P1! My child really enjoys this English class. The teachers are very good—kind, patient, and helpful. The lessons are fun and easy to follow, and my child is learning a lot. The administrator is also very helpful and always responds quickly when I have questions. Overall, it’s a great place for kids to learn English. Highly recommended!
The English programme has given my P1 child a strong and confident start. The lessons are engaging and well-structured, helping young learners build solid foundations in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Teachers are patient, encouraging, and attentive to each child’s progress, which has really boosted my child’s confidence in using English both in and out of the classroom. I appreciate how the school balances academic rigour with fun, making learning English enjoyable and effective at the same time.
my child really enjoy attending My English School. The staff and teachers are all very dedicated and friendly, making it a very welcomed and pleasant place for our kids to learn english. :)
Both my children (ages 7 and 9) have been attending since they were 5, and we’ve seen amazing progress in their English. They’ve built a strong foundation in grammar and writing, and had no issues transitioning into Primary 1. In fact, their school teachers often praise their English skills! What we really appreciate is that the kids always enjoy the lessons, they’re happy and engaged every week. A big plus, arranging replacement classes is easy and flexible. The admin team is always helpful and does their best to fit our schedule. Highly recommended!
My son has joined My English School (Novena) since he was 3yo until now. He has shown great improvement and his interest towards learning the language has grown tremendously. Thank you for the amazing teachers who have guided him this far. Also very grateful to the staffs who always make the kids feel welcome and ensuring their safety during dismissal. Highly recommended :)

My English School is listed at a mid-range ($$) price point, though exact per-session or monthly fees were not published at the time of this listing. Enrichment English classes in Singapore typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session for group classes, with one-to-one tuition running higher. Some providers charge by the term rather than per session, which can affect the total commitment. Ask the school directly about whether fees are charged per session, per month, or per term; whether a trial class carries a separate fee; and whether materials or workbooks are billed separately. Sibling discounts or package rates may also be available. See the full enrichment classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class — either at a reduced fee or at the standard session rate — before parents commit to a full term. This is a useful way to gauge whether the teaching style, pace, and class level suit your child. During a trial, observe whether your child is engaged, whether the content is appropriately challenging, and whether the teacher's approach feels structured and encouraging. It is also a good opportunity to ask how the syllabus maps to your child's school curriculum. Contact My English School directly to confirm their trial class policy and what is included.
Specific tutor credentials for My English School were not available in the listing data. When evaluating any enrichment provider, it is worth asking whether tutors hold a recognised teaching qualification such as a NIE diploma or degree in English, whether they have prior MOE school teaching experience, and how many years they have been teaching the relevant level. For English enrichment specifically, it is also useful to confirm which syllabus the classes are aligned to — MOE SEAB, IGCSE, or another framework — so you can assess the direct relevance to your child's school assessments. Contact My English School directly to ask about the qualifications and experience of the teachers assigned to your child's class.
