Great experience with Nam Soon Decking! I liaised with Shane and everything was arranged very quickly and smoothly from the start. Communication was clear, responsive, and hassle-free. The installation team was efficient and professional , the whole decking was completed within just 2 days, and the workmanship was neat and well done. We engaged Nam Soon Decking to deck our 2 balconies. Was told that the job needed 3 days to completed, yet I am very pleased to say that the team that done the decking (Rashel and Samar) finished the job in 2 days. And because we requested additional job to cover the railing of the balcony door, which Herman happily help to offer that extra mile service, it was done whole-heartedly. The team meticulously done special cutting at their warehouse to fit into the balcony door railing, and with 2 additional visits (by Sekar and Ramesh) to do final adjustment, the job was completed. As you can see in the picture, we're very pleased with the workmanship. Hopefully after-sales support will also be strong and prompt!

Brilliant, simply brilliant. Spoke face-face with Herman who gave a clean and decent quote for our old decking. The 2 men team (think one of them is Basarah,unsure) were extremely professional and friendly. Job completed within a day instead of the proposed 2.5, amazing. Herman also popped by to ensure all in order. Overall, very very pleased with the whole event. Would definitely revisit once my new onan terrace is confirmed. Strongly recommended! 2 thumbs up for Herman and team.

TL;DR: Nam Soon delivered good Long version: Started discussion with Herman around May 2024 Herman was detailed, patient with my questions & follow-up questions. Detailed responses via WhatsApp as well. Due to some unforeseen circumstances (completely on my part), the project was picked up on May 2025. When I contacted Herman again (after 1 year) the same quality responses persisted. He recalled the finer details of our discussions, maintained the same competitive pricing (after one year), & was able to further suggest some thinking points given my new circumstances. He even recalled some unconventional requests of mine & continued to accede to my requests. His crew was no slouch either. Day 1: Saddam & Ali came to dismantle my existing decking. They worked tirelessly from the moment they commenced, & didn’t stop except for a short lunch break. They were receptive to my occasional questions as well, i.e. friendly enough for me to approach them. A large portion of my existing decking is rotting & crumbling & they just systematically hand-collected & got rid of all the debris without any fuss. I am beyond impressed at the amount of physical hard labour they expended to ensure as much of the original decking frame was purged from my floor. Floor protection & cleanup was faultless. I observed the way they removed & out in their footwear when shuffling between the dirty work area & traversing my living room to ferry debris & work equipment; care was given to their thought process such that they didn’t track dirt all over, even though they already laid floor protection. Day 2: Razib & Nie Win was the 2nd group & they came to install the new decking. Again with the mindfulness to keep all air area as clean as possible. Floor protection was present again. They worked with a fervour that is really intent on getting the work done! This is not to say they rushed through the jobs; I saw them installing (& levelling) the aluminium under-structure; it’s no easy task. This approach by Nam Soon is way more challenging to level than the old school way of slapping the entire under-structure on the floor & just spamming maxbond (& it will allow any large pool of water to egress more efficiently too). & even when installing the access panels, they will not stop until the piece is perfect (I observed one of them was attacking that piece of work with sustained intensity). They also give me some counter pointers on some of my requirements to ensure I’m happy with the outcome. & they also highlighted certain aspects of the new decking installation that will differ from the old packing installation (forgot what it’s worth, Herman also highlighted these aspects during our site visit). I’m glad they are so transparent & forthcoming. Thumbs up for Nam Soon; quality & effort is unquestionable.

Nam Soon did great work for my home's timber decking. Herman was outstanding in his explanations of what materials to use and efficiency in arranging everything. I would also like to thank Tun and Samar for handling the job smoothly and quickly despite the irregular weather.
