About Neko Neko
Neko Neko is a pet grooming service operating islandwide from its base at 247A Jalan Kayu, Singapore 799471. It holds KakiList verification, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact information. The business carries a Google rating of 4.8 out of 5 across 72 reviews, which represents a moderate sample and can be treated as a reasonable indicator of service quality. Pricing is positioned at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session rates are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly.
When enquiring about a grooming appointment, it is helpful to share your pet's size, breed, and coat type upfront, as these factors typically influence pricing and appointment duration. Temperament and any known sensitivities — such as anxiety around clippers or handling — are equally worth mentioning so the groomer can prepare accordingly. You will generally be asked to provide proof of current vaccinations before a first visit. It is worth discussing whether drop-off grooming at the Jalan Kayu premises suits your needs, and whether you would like to set up a recurring schedule for coat maintenance.
To get started, reach out to Neko Neko via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. Share your pet's details and preferred appointment date, and confirm the full price — including any add-ons such as nail trimming or ear cleaning — before dropping off your pet.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
Kudos to Carrie & the Neko Neko team at Jalan Kayu! They were so patient in explaining things clearly even though we asked a lot of questions. And the neck tie was such a lovely touch - my cat looks so cute! Really appreciate the great service, would definitely recommend this grooming salon to my friends
Have been visiting Neko Neko since 2022 and I’d say that all of the groomers at Neko Neko are so well trained and patient - I never had to worry about which groomer is grooming Wednesday because they are all so amazing! Wednesday can get a little aggressive especially when she is in an unknown environment with strangers. However, the staff at Neko Neko are able to manage Wednesday really well and she doesn’t get too stressed during the grooming session. Highly recommended!!
neko neko grooming for the third time! my cats absolutely love to spend ther day there with the artisians! thankyou neko neko! we appreciate the aftercare services from you guys! love the cute report for every grooming session! will definitely come back again🙌🏻
We had brought our fur kid for her first grooming session last Sunday, and I can say that Neko Neko (Jalan Kayu) is the epitome of patience. Both their receptionist and groomers were patient and knowledgeable. We also witness that the groomers did what they can to calm our cat down instead of “leashing” and/or pinning her down just so that they can groom her. The ambience of the shop is also very welcoming and “zen” which I personally think that it’s good (which aids to calm cats down). In short, we had a very good experience with Neko Neko and we believe that our fur kid had one too. Would definitely recommend to other paw-rents out there too. Cheers!
Impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. Each time groomer will check on what kind of cut i would prefer. Always willing to explain when i don't understand specific terms " Lion-Cut"" or "Bear-Cut". The grooming was done efficiently, and Donut looks smooth and healthy. Will definitely return!

Neko Neko displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator, but specific per-session rates are not publicly listed. In the Singapore market, grooming fees typically start from around S$50–S$80 for small dogs or cats, rising to S$100–S$180 or more for large or double-coated breeds. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, nail grinding, and ear cleaning usually carry separate charges on top of the base grooming fee. It is advisable to request a full itemised quote before confirming your booking, specifying your pet's breed, coat condition, and any add-ons you require. Most grooming providers in Singapore require proof of up-to-date vaccinations before accepting a pet. For dogs, this typically means the DHPP combination vaccine (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and a current rabies vaccination. For cats, the standard requirement is the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia). Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly required at facilities that also offer boarding or daycare. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current within the past 12 months. You should bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate to your first drop-off appointment. Contact Neko Neko directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before your visit.
In Singapore, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board (NParks) regulates animal-related businesses, including grooming and boarding facilities. A valid AVS licence is required for premises offering these services commercially. Neko Neko does not currently list any regulatory licences on its KakiList profile, so it is advisable to ask directly whether the business holds the relevant AVS licence and what insurance cover is in place in the event your pet is injured or falls unwell during a session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
