About "Nest Preschool"
Nest Preschool is a childcare and infant care provider located at Ubi Techpark in Ubi Crescent, Singapore. The centre is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact information. Its Google rating stands at 3.7 out of 5, though this is drawn from only 3 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Monthly fees are in the mid-range bracket ($$) and are billed on a recurring monthly basis.
Families considering Nest Preschool should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care places in Singapore fill up well in advance. When you make contact — via phone or the enquiry form — ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, and the settling-in period policy to understand how the centre supports young children through the transition. It is also worth asking about ECDA subsidies, which are available to Singapore citizen children and can meaningfully reduce the monthly fee you pay.
The most practical next step is to call or submit the online enquiry form to check current availability, then arrange a centre visit so you can meet the lead teacher, see the infant room, and review the parent contract before making any commitment.

We’re so grateful to have found this wonderful school for our son. The Principal and teachers form an incredibly warm, professional, and dedicated team. The Principal leads with both heart and clarity, showing true passion for early childhood education. Together with the caring, observant, and patient teachers, they’ve created a nurturing environment that gives us full confidence our child is in good hands. Though our son took some time to adjust, we’ve seen small but meaningful progress each day. He’s gradually opening up, finding comfort, and gaining confidence in this beautifully prepared space. We’re truly thankful for the amazing team who treat every child like their own. It’s a nurturing and supportive space that reflects the true essence of early childhood care—especially with the Montessori values we deeply appreciate. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a loving and respectful place for their little one to grow and thrive. 💛
Great Montessori preschool for my son develop his speech and fine motor skills. He has not only grown academically but also socially and emotionally. The classroom is neat and well organised. The outdoor playground is spacious. The teachers are truly outstanding- warm, dedicated, caring, enthusiastic and genuinely invested to each child’s progress. Communication with teachers through school app are also easy and transparent, so we always feel informed and assured. A special thanks to all the teachers of Nest UBI. I love Nest UBI ❤️!!!
We had a traumatic experience at Nest Ubi with our 21 months old child. The day after his experience day in Nest Ubi, he fell sick and was subsequently hospitalised for 6 days for severe gastroenteritis, with stool sample testing positive for Astrovirus, Norovirus viruses and Campylobacter bacteria. During the trial experience, we observed the day-to-day activities in the school. While breakfast was served, we noted a boy vomited near the food area. Some vomit hit a teacher, definitely on her shoes, perhaps some on the shirt and apron too. The vomit was cleaned up subsequently but we did not notice any immediate deep sanitisation of the immediate vicinity. As far as we know, the poor boy was not sent home or 'isolated' away from other kids. The teacher who got vomit on her also did not seem to change into fresh clothing and shoes. On hindsight, this seemingly lax attitude to the boy vomiting should have been our warning sign to flee. While we were there, we also noticed a girl wandering to the food tray return area after other kids have returned their trays with leftover food. A teacher noticed this, but was too late to stop the girl from seemingly taking the food to her mouth. Not sure why the food tray return area was not cleared timely or 'guarded' against 2-3 years olds proned to touching and licking their fingers. The day after the trial experience in Nest Preschool Ubi, our child started to vomit. Then it went downhill from there with more vomit, diarrhea, dehydration and lethargy. We asked the principal if there were other gastro cases after the first vomit. After 4 days, she finally responded that there were two other cases of vomit and/or watery stool. By then, our child has already been to the Children's Emergency twice and hospitalized already. We feel that the slow response to our child's health incident related query reflect, at best, inexperience or worse indifference to possible health emergency. We don't trust Nest Ubi being a safe environment for our child with the above observations and response. Not sure if the school had reported the vomit/diarrhea cases to ECDA/MOH/SFA, but do be aware and vigilant in looking out for gastroenteritis symptoms as the condition can get severe fast, especially for toddlers.

Nest Preschool uses a mid-range ($$) monthly pricing model for its infant care programme. The published price tier gives a broad indication of cost, but the exact monthly fee will depend on your child's age group and the number of days enrolled. Contact the centre directly to obtain the current fee schedule. Beyond the monthly fee, families should budget for a one-off registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to two months' fees), and smaller items such as uniform sets and group insurance. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so you will not pay GST on top of the stated fees. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in an ECDA-licensed infant care centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month. Working mothers who clock 56 or more hours of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. Families with household income below certain thresholds may also qualify for the Additional Subsidy, bringing total combined support to up to S$710 per month or more depending on income band. Singapore Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Note that Nest Preschool does not currently list an ECDA licence in its public profile. Subsidies are only claimable at ECDA-licensed centres, so you should confirm the centre's licence status directly before assuming subsidy eligibility. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically — visit the ECDA website for the most current figures.
Infant care places in Singapore are among the most competitive in the early childhood sector. Popular centres typically fill spots three to twelve months ahead of the intended start date, and January intake is the busiest period as it aligns with the start of the school year. Even centres with available capacity can fill quickly once word spreads, so it is advisable to enquire as early as possible. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which together confirm your child's slot. Contact Nest Preschool directly by phone or through the enquiry form to ask about current vacancy for your preferred start month, and clarify what is required to formally reserve a spot.
