I like to give my heartfelt appreciation to Nguan Gratitude Services Pte Ltd for the way they handled my late father's funeral under Buddhist rites. Am sure no one wants any deaths in the family to feel difficult during what is a deeply grieving time for family members. My family are more used to Taoist practices and beliefs but chose a Buddhist burial for my father. So coming into a new way of doing things, Valerie and her team were professional and thoughtful in helping us navigate the various processes, right from answering the call early in the wee hours of the morning. Thank you also to Mr Lee, Kenneth and the other staff members as well as their partners (the logistics people, and the monks, etc) I have no complaints and sincerely thank you on behalf of my family.

Got the contact via word of mouth. Service was excellent and the team covered almost every aspect that a funeral would require, from embalming to wake, cremation arrangement and even helping with the garden of peace arrangment. What I really like are the details that the team thought through to reduce the load of the bereaved family, such as providing deshelled peanuts over shelled nuts. Overall, highly recommended service. Thank you to Mr Lee, Valerie, Cindy, Kenneth and the team for helping us in this difficult period.

I do not usually write reviews, but I feel the need to write this so that hopefully, no one else goes through the same pain that my family did. I Will not recommend this problematic team to anybody. They were unempathetic toward my family in grief from start to end. Below are some of the problems we faced with their team. 1. Miscommunication issues between Nguan Gratitude Services(Valerie) and their group of contractors. This caused a 3-4 hours delay in the setting up of wake which delayed the funeral service. 2. Uncontactable when we needed help, although they assured us that they would help us. E.g: When there were lighting & fan issues, the team was either unresponsive or always late in response. After they receive the information, they would then activate the contractors to act on the problem. Which eventually only solved the problem 2/3 hours later. 3. What was requested after the wake, was not fulfilled by Valerie or her team. Which we have to then sort it out by ourselves. There were other smaller problems such as Valerie addressing the wrong name of the deceased during the wake that I do not want to mention further. Although this would seem like another day of business for Nguan Gratitude Services, but to families that are in grief, it would affect us tremendously especially during this period.
