Found this place by accident while walking by Tiong Bahru one day. The place is clean and the ambience was somewhat like a Bali Spa. Being a frequent massage going (Natureland), I was a little hesitant to try out new places. I chose the 60 mins full body massage and was led to the room by Yuki. The rooms were larger then expected and the en-suite toilet was also spacious. Yuki was exceptionally skilled and was able to apply good pressure to relief my knots and aches (I personally enjoy harder massages). I added another 30 mins because it was that good!! My body felt really refreshed and rejuvenated after the hour and a half massage. It is not easy to look for a suitable masseuse amidst the many around but I will definitely look for Yuki the next time I need a massage again!
Went & tried 60mins full body massage. (Masseuse: Kiki). So good I fell asleep halfway through. The place is clean & smells nice. With amenities & washing points available to use. Brings me memories of my massages at the old browhaus massage place. Highly recommended.
Therapist Belle’s massage is incredibly professional! For the old injury in my lower back, she used a gentler yet effective deep relaxation technique, precisely avoiding the painful areas while relieving the deep muscle tension. The service was meticulous and thoughtful, and she even kindly reminded me of post-massage precautions at the end. The overall experience was excellent, and she definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
After being a loyal customer of this massage spa for over 10 years, I was very disappointed by my experience yesterday. Unbeknown to me, the spa is now under new ownership, and the service has changed significantly—for the worse. Upon arriving for my scheduled appointment, there was immediate confusion at the reception desk. The staff member spoke no English, and we had to rely entirely on Google Translate. I was shown to a treatment room that no longer has a curtain, leaving no privacy while changing. During the massage, I was not asked about pressure. As this was meant to be a lymphatic treatment, the pressure should have been light. When I tried to ask the therapist to reduce the pressure, she did not understand, and I have since woken up today with bruising. Before the treatment even began, another therapist entered the room while I was half-dressed and stated she would take over after 20 minutes. This was extremely uncomfortable and unsettling. Although this change never happened, I spent the entire massage unable to relax—both due to the excessive pressure and the uncertainty of who might enter the room next. The session ended 10 minutes earlier than the time I paid for, and while changing afterwards, the therapist re-entered the room to tidy up while I was still dressing. There was zero sense of privacy throughout the experience. Overall, the service was poor, the treatment uncomfortable, and the experience deeply disappointing. It is unfortunate that this spa is still operating under the Nimble/Knead brand name, as it no longer reflects the quality or professionalism long-term customers have come to expect.
The place was clean and cozy, the service was excellent, and the Elain massage therapist was very professional. I would definitely visit this place again.

Most holistic wellness providers do not require a formal GP referral, though a first-visit intake form or verbal assessment is standard practice. This helps the practitioner understand your health history, current concerns, and any contraindications — such as pregnancy, recent surgery, or chronic conditions — before beginning treatment. If you intend to make an insurance claim, a GP referral letter may strengthen your case depending on your insurer and policy. For complex or ongoing conditions, consulting your GP alongside holistic treatment is generally advisable. Contact Nimble & Knead directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask what to expect at the first appointment.
No regulatory licences are currently listed for Nimble & Knead on KakiList. The relevant licensing body depends on the specific modality — physiotherapists and occupational therapists are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), TCM practitioners by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB), and psychologists by the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). Holistic practitioners offering non-regulated modalities (such as massage, energy work, or wellness coaching) are not required to hold a statutory licence in Singapore. Before booking, ask the practitioner directly about their qualifications, training background, and any professional memberships. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
