Families typically reach out by phone or through the enquiry form to discuss the nature of services required — whether Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, or secular — the preferred wake format (void deck, funeral parlour, or home), duration, and any specific religious or cultural rites. A funeral director will usually walk through the full programme, including body preparation, embalming if required, coffin selection, floral arrangements, and cremation or burial coordination. Costs vary considerably depending on the package tier, number of days, and add-on services chosen, so it is worth requesting a written itemised quotation before confirming any arrangement.
To begin, contact Nirvana Memorial Garden directly by phone for immediate assistance, or submit an enquiry through their online form to request a callback and discuss available packages in detail.

My family and I would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Mr Soo Wen Loong and the 827 team (Vera, Caoyuan, and the rest of the team; apologies I am unable to mention all by name). Wen Loong was quick to arrive when we made the call to him to notify about my grandfather’s passing. When he arrived, he was a steady presence and guided us calmly on what needed to be done. He also quickly created a WhatsApp group to coordinate all family members and answered any of our queries promptly. Throughout the wake, he was always present to guide us with his soothing voice (he even helped to make sure the portable toilet was clean!) My grandmother had nothing but praises for him throughout. The people from team 827 also showed up every day and some of them (Vera, Angeline, Yu Xia and the rest; apologies I do not know some of their names) even took turns to console and chat with my grandmother. I could tell that my grandmother was very happy chatting with them and grateful for their presence. Team leader Vera also took the effort to source for paper offerings of things my late grandfather liked and helped arrange for nightly Buddhist chanting. The chanting really helped soothe my family, especially my grandmother. During the wake and afterwards, my grandmother kept telling me how good Vera and the team was. Overall, everything was done in a very orderly manner and having one POC for all matters really made our lives simpler, which is especially important in situations like this. Just a really really big THANK YOU from all of us for the honorable send off for my dearly departed grandfather.
My mother-in-law had chosen to engage Nirvana for her final journey. The entire setup was neat, tidy, and tastefully arranged, creating a serene and dignified environment for family and guests. The mobile toilet facilities were impressively clean, well-ventilated with fans, and even accompanied by soft background music, ensuring comfort throughout the wake. Most importantly, Steve and Pinky demonstrated outstanding professionalism, patience, and sensitivity. Their attentiveness and guidance at every step gave us great comfort and reassurance during this difficult time. We are truly grateful for the care, respect, and attention to detail shown by the Nirvana team. Thank you for helping our family bid farewell with peace and dignity.
Dear Maurice, Jessie, Daniel, and Vivian, I'm still trying to process the loss of my mother, but I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time. The Nirvana SLA-JDV team, under your care, made the funeral arrangements and proceedings so much more manageable for our family. Your professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. You treated my mother with dignity and respect, and for that, I'll be forever grateful 🙏. Thank you for being there for us, for answering our questions, and for easing the burden of grief, even if just a little. Your support meant the world to us 💕. Sincerely, Oei Khang Yong
My parents bought Double Niches (that hold two urns) here. Attended a ceremony to place the two empty urns into the niches today. My parents were happy and relieved after the ceremony, as they believe that they would have a nice resting place here eventually. I am happy as long as they are happy. ** But as a nonbeliever, I think people are generally deluded, thinking that their souls will remain in their ashes or Ancestral Tablets after cremation… We have to accept reality and learn to let go. Flowers are beautiful but they are not meant to last forever. Like flowers, we will all die eventually. So let’s just bloom beautifully when we’re still alive and let go everything on earth when it’s time.
Our family and I would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Wen Loong and the 819 team (Jenny Elgina Song, Yvonne Chua and Jason Yap) and the rest of the team (apologies for not getting their names). The team was quick to arrive when I made a call to Jenny to notify her about my mum's passing. When they arrived at the hospital, Wen Loong guided us calmly on what needed to be done. A WhatsApp group to coordinate all family members was also created by Jenny. The 819 team also showed up everyday to help at the wake, offering consistent care, professionalism and kindness throughout the entire period. Their presence and willingness to assist with whatever was needed brought our family great comfort during a very difficult time. Everything was handled with respect and attention to detail. We truly appreciate their dedication and would highly recommend the 819 team (especially Jenny Elgina Song) to anyone in need of the thoughtful and reliable service.

Funeral services pricing varies widely depending on the type of service, religious or cultural tradition, number of wake days, coffin selection, and whether cremation or burial is chosen. Entry-level packages at Singapore funeral providers typically start around S$2,000–3,500 for a basic cremation service, with full multi-day wake packages ranging from S$5,000 to S$20,000 or more. Request a written itemised quotation covering all components — package fee, body preparation, floral arrangements, hearse, urn or coffin, venue charges, and any disbursements such as cremation or burial fees — before committing. Confirm whether GST applies to individual line items. See the full funeral services cost guide for Singapore →
Nirvana Memorial Garden provides funeral and memorial services rather than ongoing care arrangements, so the live-in versus visit-based distinction does not apply here. Services are engagement-based — a funeral director is assigned to coordinate the full programme from the point of passing through to the final rites. Families can expect the director to manage logistics including body collection, wake setup, religious officiant coordination, and cremation or burial scheduling. The level of hands-on family involvement varies by package, so discuss preferred roles and cultural requirements at the initial consultation.
Funeral service providers in Singapore operate under general business registration rather than a single sector-specific licence, though premises and cremation facilities are subject to relevant regulatory requirements. Nirvana Memorial Garden is ACRA-registered and KakiList-verified, and its 4.8 out of 5 rating across 419 Google reviews — a robust sample — reflects sustained family feedback. When engaging any funeral provider, confirm in writing the full scope of services, which staff members will be present at key stages, and what recourse is available if arrangements deviate from what was agreed. Ask whether the provider carries professional indemnity or public liability insurance covering the engagement.
