When visiting a veterinary clinic for the first time, it helps to come prepared. Bring any existing vaccination records, note your pet's breed, age, weight, and any recent changes in behaviour or appetite. Mention your pet's temperament at reception, particularly if your animal is anxious or reactive around other animals, so the team can accommodate accordingly. Whether you are booking a routine wellness check, vaccination appointment, or bringing in a pet for an acute concern, calling ahead or submitting an enquiry via the contact form on the listing page allows the clinic to advise on the best time slot and whether a particular veterinarian is available.
To make a booking or enquiry, reach NorthShore Vet by phone or through the contact form listed on this page. Have your pet's vaccination history and a brief description of the reason for the visit ready before you call.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
I brought my elderly dog to see Dr Nicholas for a perineal hernia and I’m very thankful for the care we received. He was extremely thorough in explaining my dog’s condition and how to manage it. He even drew diagrams on a whiteboard to help us understand what was going on. The doctors at Apex are truly knowledgeable and thoughtful. They offered a wide range of treatment options and were very mindful of our financial constraints. We never felt rushed or pressured, and that meant a lot to us. The receptionist was also kind and friendly, which made the whole experience less stressful. I’m very grateful for the care shown to both my dog and our family. Thank you so much!
Dr. Nicholas from Apex was actually my rider before, so it felt very meaningful to see him again under such serious circumstances. My 14-year-old Bichon was in a very severe situation with internal pulling related to his condition. My daughter brought her full journal and carefully explained everything we had been monitoring. Dr. Nicholas was tremendously good. He even remembered that I had driven him home before as a Grab driver, which made the encounter feel personal and genuine. What truly stood out was how patient and fatherly he was. He drew diagrams, went through every detail slowly with my children, and made sure they understood what was happening inside our dog’s body. He taught them how to massage his back regularly since he is aging, and even showed them what to do if an anal prolapse happens again. That level of teaching and empowerment meant a lot to us. He was also mindful of our budget and worked towards practical solutions without pressure. We left not just with medical advice, but with confidence and reassurance. Dr. Nicholas is a tremendous vet, and I highly recommend him and the Apex team.
Been to the clinic few times, consulted Doctor Nicholas and Zac on different occasions. Everytime I learn new things from them, they are always so patient and detailed, not pushy too. We are very lucky to have chosen Apex. The team of frontdesk and nurses are great too. My skittish kiddo managed to find comfort and made friend with 1 of the nurse. And not to mention, they respond well to whatsapp too. Kudos to the team.
Dr Kai who attended to our kitten, Theo, was the best vet I've ever seen. I must say, Drs at Apex vet(northshore), are pure Drs, not businessmen. Dr Kai put her heart and soul to care for my cat, she don't suggest unnecessary tests, even if I requested for one. To make it better, even the nurses at the counter were fabulous, forever with a big smile. Highly recommended
We visited this vet clinic today with my beloved dog and I cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Receptionists were very welcoming! Everyone was friendly & service was good! They ensured that both our pet and we felt comfortable throughout our visit. They handled my dog with care and gentleness which instantly reassured us that my dog will be in good hands. My dog usually shivers when she visits the clinic but this time she was pretty well behaved because of the staffs! Doctor Anise is highly skilled and knowledgeable. She also took time to explain my dog’s condition and treatment options after the blood test. Patiently answering all of our questions and addressing any concerns we had. What truly sets this vet clinic apart is the level of compassion and dedication they demonstrate towards their furry patients and their owners. If you’re looking for a vet clinic where your pet will receive top notch care in a welcoming and compassionate environment, this is the best place! We are incredibly grateful to have found a wonderful place & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone in need of veterinary services! Thank you Mag, Piya, Zuzu & Doctor Anise!

NorthShore Vet is listed at a moderate price point ($$), though specific consultation fees are not publicly displayed. As a general guide in Singapore, a routine veterinary consultation typically ranges from S$30 to S$80, with additional charges for vaccinations, blood panels, X-rays, medications, or procedures depending on your pet's needs. Costs can vary further based on species, breed, and the complexity of the visit. Additional line items to confirm when booking include any after-hours or emergency surcharges, the cost of prescribed medications dispensed on-site, and whether follow-up consultations carry a separate fee. It is advisable to ask for an itemised estimate before agreeing to any treatment plan. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, core vaccinations include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies; bordetella is additionally recommended if your dog attends boarding, daycare, or dog runs. For cats, the FVRCP combination (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) is considered core, with rabies also required under Singapore regulations for licensed cats. If you are bringing your pet in for a boarding referral or a procedure requiring sedation, the clinic may request proof that vaccinations are current — typically within the past 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or digital record to the appointment. If records have lapsed, the veterinarian can advise on a catch-up schedule before any boarding or group-setting placement.
Veterinary clinics in Singapore operate under the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster of the National Parks Board (NParks). Practising veterinarians must be registered with AVS, and the clinic premises are subject to regulatory oversight. No specific licences held by NorthShore Vet are listed in this directory profile, so it is advisable to confirm directly with the clinic that their veterinarians are currently AVS-registered. Regarding insurance, standard veterinary clinic policies typically cover the facility itself, though they do not automatically extend to your pet during a visit. Pet owners carrying their own pet insurance should check whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel of recognised providers. Visit the facility and confirm these details before committing to ongoing care. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
