If you are enquiring for a child, it is worth confirming which levels and age groups are currently catered for, and whether the syllabus aligns with your child's stage of development. Northstar Gymnastics can be reached via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about group versus individual formats, current term schedules, and whether a trial class is available before you commit to a full term. It is also worth clarifying whether sessions are conducted at the Singapore Post Centre location only or at additional islandwide venues.
To get started, send a WhatsApp message or use the enquiry form to confirm class availability for your child's age group, ask about the trial class option, and request the current term fee schedule before making any commitment.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I recently took a series of gymnastics lessons at North Star and had a great experience. As a beginner with no previous gymnastics experience, and although challenging, I was able to learn handstands, cartwheels, and front walkovers in just 6 lessons. The instructors at North Star were kind and paid attention to each student's growth and development, and the classes were well-structured with a balance of warm-up, skill practice, and cool-down stretches. The gym was well-equipped with soft and bouncy mats, and the environment was clean and safe. One thing to note is that the lessons might appear pricey at $45 per class, but I believe the value is worth it for the 90-minute lessons. Class sizes for beginners varied from 3 to 8 students, which was a good balance for individual attention and group practice. It was also great to see students of all ages and levels in the class – age is definitely not a determining factor when it comes to gymnastics. Overall, I would highly recommend North Star to anyone interested in trying gymnastics or looking for a new fitness challenge. I only wish I had started earlier!
Northstar is the most hygienic and well-organized gymnastics facility I’ve ever been to. Even after the pandemic, they still disinfect the gym after every class and provide hand sanitizer to every child such thoughtful care is truly appreciated. The coaches are all friendly and cheerful, creating a fun environment not just for kids but for adults too. Both the competitive and recreational classes are run smoothly and professionally. What I love most is the ability to view the entire gym through screens, which gave me real peace of mind as a parent. Especially Coach Jon is always kind and takes the time to warmly explain things to parents!
My niece attended an expensive trial class here recently, and the experience was disappointing on multiple fronts: 1] No Parental Visibility: Although there’s ample space inside the facility for parents to observe, they do not allow it. This lack of transparency raises serious concerns about what might be happening behind closed doors. 2] Misleading Monitoring Setup: Parents are told to watch from a TV outside, but the screen constantly cycles through different camera views every few seconds. By the time you spot your child, the feed changes again. It’s clearly a superficial setup designed to give the illusion of access. 3] Poor Hygiene Practices: I noticed children with visibly runny noses allowed in class. In a group setting, this poses a risk of spreading illness — something that should be taken much more seriously. 4] Unhelpful Staff and Dismissive Attitude: The staff was curt and reluctant to engage. The owner may come across as polite, but that surface-level politeness doesn’t match the dismissive culture he seems to have cultivated. 5] Lack of Racial Diversity Among Staff: Most of the coaches and staff I observed appeared to be of Filipino descent. While there’s nothing wrong with that in itself, it does raise valid questions about whether there’s a bias in hiring or an effort to avoid diversity. 6] Questionable Leadership Credentials: The founder, Jon, appears to have a background in floor or operations management — which is logistical, not technical. That doesn’t necessarily translate into competence in gymnastics coaching or running a high-quality program. Please do not waste money here. There are far better places for Gymnastics coaching!
Never receive progress update or feedback. Hard to get in touch with coachs to check on the progress. For fun and exploration probably. Seems to repeat same thing, mix with new joins, not craft to individual or different Group. The customer service is poor.
The best coaches in NorthStar Gymnastics! New and awesome equipments for kids and adult for gymnastics or parties 🥳 It’s great to join their lessons with flexible schedule and monthly plan.

Northstar Gymnastics has not published a specific price list publicly, so the exact per-session, monthly package, or term fee is not confirmed here. Based on Singapore market norms for gymnastics enrichment, group classes typically range from S$30–60 per session, with monthly packages or term bundles often offering a modest discount over pay-as-you-go rates. A trial class, where available, may be charged at a reduced or standard session rate. Additional costs to clarify when enquiring include any registration or enrolment fee, attire or equipment requirements, and whether a materials or uniform charge applies. Sibling discounts are offered by some providers and are worth asking about. See the full Enrichment Classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many gymnastics enrichment providers in Singapore offer a single trial class before you sign up for a full term, though policies vary. A trial gives you and your child the opportunity to assess whether the class level is appropriate, whether the teaching style suits your child's temperament, and whether the pace and group size feel comfortable. When attending a trial, observe how the coach manages the group, how progressions are structured, and whether safety and spotting practices look sound. If your child is hesitant or needs extra encouragement, note how the coach responds. Contact Northstar Gymnastics directly via WhatsApp or the enquiry form to confirm their current trial class policy and associated cost before visiting.
Specific coach credentials for Northstar Gymnastics are not listed in the available provider data. For a gymnastics enrichment provider, relevant qualifications to ask about include certification from the Singapore Gymnastics federation or an internationally recognised body such as the British Gymnastics Foundation or USA Gymnastics, as well as any first-aid certification and experience working with the relevant age group. It is advisable to ask directly how many years the lead coaches have been teaching, whether they have competitive gymnastics backgrounds, and how the programme is structured in terms of skill progression. If credentials are not readily offered, treat that as a prompt to probe further before committing to a term.
