About NTUC First Campus

About NTUC First Campus

NTUC First Campus is a childcare and preschool provider operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList verified and ACRA registered, which confirms basic operational legitimacy. Its Google rating stands at 2.4 out of 5, though this is drawn from only 10 reviews — too small a sample to draw firm conclusions, and prospective families should treat it as directional only. Fees are indicated at a moderate price tier.

When considering a place for your child, the recommended first step is to enquire about slot availability for your intended start month, as popular centres — particularly for infant care — can fill many months in advance. During your enquiry, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, and the settling-in period the centre offers to help younger children adjust. For Singapore citizen children, ECDA subsidies may substantially reduce monthly fees; confirm eligibility and the current subsidy quantum directly with the centre or via the ECDA website, as figures are subject to change.

To take the next step, contact NTUC First Campus directly via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current vacancies, arrange a centre visit, and request a copy of the parent contract before making any commitment. When comes to refund of Child's CDA funds, they take their own sweet time. It's been more than 8 weeks and despite chaser emails with ECDA, MSF and Education Minister, I've not received the CDA refund for my child since he graduated last year.

Extremely poor management, my child has been in the waiting list for 1 and a half years but we don’t get a slot. It is not a waiting list, it is a network list. If you don’t have friends working in there, you won’t get a slot.

Terrible double standard. Father does not have a word when comes to children education.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does NTUC First Campus charge per month?

Monthly childcare and preschool fees in Singapore vary depending on the programme type, the child's age, and whether the place is at a full-day, half-day, or flexi-care centre. Beyond the monthly fee itself, families should budget for a one-off registration fee and a deposit — typically equivalent to around two months' fees — payable when a place is accepted. Additional costs such as a uniform, insurance, and enrichment programmes may also apply. Childcare centre fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no goods and services tax is added to the monthly bill. Given that NTUC First Campus has not published a specific fee schedule here, contact the centre directly for the current fee table before factoring in any applicable ECDA subsidies. What subsidies can I claim at NTUC First Campus?

Singapore citizen children attending a licensed childcare centre are eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare — regardless of household income. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of employment per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Relief (WMCR) and the Additional Subsidy, which is income-tested and can bring the combined total subsidy to up to S$710 per month when stacked with the Working Mother Subsidy. Families with children in kindergarten programmes may be eligible under the Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme (KiFAS). Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so families should check directly with ECDA at www.ecda.gov.sg for the most current figures before making financial plans.

Is there a waitlist at NTUC First Campus?

Demand for childcare places across Singapore — particularly infant care spots — consistently outpaces supply at many centres, and waiting periods of between three and twelve months are common. January is the peak intake month for most preschools, so families targeting that cohort should begin enquiring at least six to nine months in advance. For infant care specifically, enquiring as early as the second trimester of pregnancy is not uncommon. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which typically locks in the vacancy. Contact NTUC First Campus directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's intended start date, as waitlist positions and vacancy status change frequently and are not always reflected in online listings.
