About NurtureStars
NurtureStars is a KakiList-verified infant care provider based at Lor 6 Toa Payoh, operating islandwide and listed at the $$ price tier. It holds ACRA registration and has received a 4.3-out-of-5 rating on Google, though with only 12 reviews that figure should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. No ECDA licence is currently recorded on this listing, which is a mandatory requirement for infant care centres in Singapore; families are strongly advised to confirm licensing status directly with the centre before enrolment.
Families considering infant care at NurtureStars should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as infant care places — particularly for very young babies — are in high demand and can fill several months in advance. When you contact the centre, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine covering feeds, naps and developmental activities, and the settling-in period policy to understand how the transition is managed for both parent and child. It is also worth asking whether the centre participates in ECDA subsidy schemes, as Singapore citizen children may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy and, where applicable, the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy.
To take the next step, reach out to NurtureStars directly via phone or the enquiry form to check current vacancy for your child's intended enrolment month, and arrange a centre visit to meet the caregiving team in person before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

A Truly Wonderful Preschool Experience at NurtureStars Toa Payoh. My family and I are incredibly grateful to NurtureStars Toa Payoh for taking such amazing care of my daughter since she was just 6 months old. From day one, the centre has felt like a second home for her. A very special thank you to the wonderful Principal, Ms. Kit, and her amazing team — Teacher Cindy, Teacher Ann, Zhan Laoshi, Chen Laoshi, Teacher Nana, Teacher Shermaine, and Teacher Jes. Their patience, warmth, and genuine care have played such a huge role in my girl's growth and confidence. We’ve watched her develop not just academically, but emotionally and socially, all thanks to the nurturing environment they’ve created. Every teacher has shown attentiveness, love, and dedication, always willing to go the extra mile. Knowing that my daughter is in such capable and caring hands has given us so much peace of mind over the years. Thank you, NurtureStars Toa Payoh, for being such an important part of her early years. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done for our family! ❤️
My boy was in NS TPY since infant care till K2. The teachers at all levels have been very caring, kind and nurturing throughout my child’s infant and kindergarten years, giving us parents and the caregivers peace of mind throughout the 6 years. We count ourselves really blessed not having to worry about changes of teachers and environment as NS TPY provided so much stability (low teacher turnover, clean environment and inhouse cooked food). Thank you to all the staff at NS TPY - thank you Ms Kit Low, Ms Chan, Teacher Ann, Teacher Zhai, Teacher Chen, Teacher Cindy, Teacher Nana and Teacher Wendy for all your efforts and kindness to Josh!
Our child has grown so much during his time at this preschool, thanks to the caring and dedicated team of teachers. The curriculum is well thought out, and the environment feels warm, safe, and nurturing. The preschool graduation was beautifully organised — you could see how much effort the teachers put in to make it a meaningful experience for the children and families. We are truly grateful for the love, patience, and passion the teachers show every day. Highly recommended!
Our child was placed in NurtureStar TPY Safra since preschool and into their kindergarten, and I must say the experience was entirely positive. Before NS TPY, we had enrolled them in a different childcare centre nearer to our place, but we heard stories of how they had little routine and processes. Without that, teachers, and therefore kids, were more stressed. The centre was also not air-conditioned, so the heat and humidity likely added to the stress. Not an environment we wanted our child to be in. Thus when the opportunity to be in NS TPY came in, we took it and we were so glad that we did. NS TPY had an excellent way of running things - well-established routines from the child's daily life throughout the year, to nutritional practices, academics, UV sanitisation lights in classrooms during wee hours, to how the child transits year on year. It was smooth like clockwork that they have much more bandwidth to focus on the nurturing of the children. While systems are important, I believe it was the people who made the real difference. We were so glad for Ms Kit's love and leadership - she had a great heart for each child and her teachers, regularly engaging the parents, and were hands-on frequently. The teachers - Ms Ann, Ms Lillian, Ms Tham, Ms Zhao, Teacher Jas, Ms Zhai, just to name a few - can be strict when necessary, but mostly were full of love and deeply invested in making sure my child thrived. I appreciated how they were upfront and communicative about the day-ins-day-outs, and it helped to build trust over time. Also shout-out to Ms Chan, who made sure that our child never lacked anything with the consistent communications. In fact, it took us some time to get used to the primary school method/style of communication after enjoying NS TPY's excellent communications for years. As far as I know, their curriculum is all-rounded, and covers academics to exploration of our world, to external experiences that helped our child explore their interests, which I thought was great. I remember the centre inviting a few parents to share their careers/jobs with the students and that was such an endearing and heartwarming thing to do. Besides that, NS TPY also have plenty of parent-and-child activities, and I got to meet other parents as well. I liked how that really helped us in building this community spirit that brings us together as a team in the nurturing of our children. We stayed in touch with many of the parents after NS TPY, having play dates once in a while. I deeply appreciated, especially during my child's final years with NS, how the teachers were intentional and impactful in preparing them for Primary School. Indeed, much of our PTO sessions during that two years were about building up their confidence. Based on the teachers' feedback (not advice), and on our own consideration, we decided to engage an external educator to provide a light, play-based tuition, and we saw how our child was able to grow from struggling to having confidence in their classes. When our child transited to primary school, I could see that they had little issues focusing on their homework when they understood how to answer, and ask questions when they didn't. It was this confidence in learning that I believe NS was building and I appreciate it was a partnership between the school and ourselves that is needed for our child to get there. I also liked how NS emphasised the importance of socialising well - the free weekly Kidz Amaze session was such a joyful thing to witness - and truly I observed over time how my child is entirely comfortable with making new friends on their own. It has been such a privilege to be able to have our child spent a essential part of their childhood in such a loving environment that prepared them not only for the real world but also strongly anchored in values and relationships that'll help them thrive. Thank you to all at NS TPY for the difference you have made in my child's life, and for role-modelling love and guiding growth throughout the years. It's the little daily things that mattered.
My kids attended NurtureStars since infant care and the experience has been great. Ms Kit and her team of teachers and staff are caring, thoughtful and take care to update us on our kids’ well-being in school. My kids love visiting kidz amaze next door and attending the jacpa classes, as part of the school programme. Most importantly, they look forward to going to school and come back happy.

NurtureStars is listed at the $$ price tier, which for infant care in Singapore typically corresponds to monthly fees in the range of S$1,200 to S$2,500 before subsidies, depending on the centre and age group. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-time registration fee, a refundable deposit (commonly equivalent to one or two months' fees), and any uniform or personal accident insurance charges. Childcare and infant care fees at ECDA-licensed centres are GST-exempt, so you should not be charged GST on the core monthly fee. Always request a full written fee schedule from the centre before signing any enrolment agreement. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed infant care centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month for infant care. Working mothers who are employed or self-employed for at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. For families with a gross monthly household income below the qualifying threshold, the Additional Subsidy can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month. Permanent resident children receive partial subsidies at a lower quantum. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are subject to change. Visit the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making your enrolment decision. Confirm with NurtureStars whether the centre is ECDA-licensed, as subsidy eligibility depends on this status.
Infant care places in Singapore are among the most competitive in the childcare sector, and popular centres routinely fill their slots three to twelve months ahead of the intended start date. January is typically the peak intake month, so families planning a start in the first quarter of the year should enquire especially early. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and sometimes a deposit, so have these ready once you decide to proceed. Contact NurtureStars directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current vacancies for your child's birth month and intended enrolment date. Do not assume a place is available without confirming, even if the listing appears active.
