Our active little JRT loves Dr Sara as she is quiet and gentle just like him. I especially like how patient and thorough in explanations they are with my Aged Parent who takes the doggo in for consults at times, and are so accomodating when we pick up the doggo's seasonal Apoquel. The team maintains good staff culture and a very soothing environment. Thumbs up.
I brought a sick community cat Bisu to Dr Francis Tay today. It was a very pleasant and heartening experience. Despite walking into the clinic without an appointment on a Saturday, they had managed to squeeze in Bisu. Dr Tay was very patient and gentle, did a thorough check, giving a diagnosis with pragmatic advice and the next steps. The team showed and taught us how to administer medicine. Clinic is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Leads straight into the carpark making it very easy for pet owners. I must say the charges was very reasonable as well compared to those I had visited before. Thank you Ohana team.
We've been coming here with our Singapore Special Lillie for years, for regular check-ups, urgent situations, and despite Lillie being a little bit of a hand-full due to her fearfulness, the team at Ohana have always treated her (and me) with love and respect. We used to come to one particular doctor as we've built up a rapport, but at some point we weren't able to and the communication between the team is flawless. They are professional, take great care, are transparent in their communication and take a collaborative approach. I would recommend Ohana in a heartbeat to anyone with a pet.
A special shoutout to Dr. Sara Koh — a truly professional and caring vet who clearly loves what she does. I brought my cat Keterk in for a head injury, and she treated him with so much love and attention. What stood out most was her prompt follow-up after the visit to check on his recovery. It's not easy finding a neighbourhood vet who goes the extra mile, but this clinic in Pasir Ris is definitely worthwhile. Highly recommend for fellow cat owners!
Deeply Frustrating Experience, Lack of Empathy and Extremely Poor communication skills. I am writing this review to share my personal experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision. What I experienced today mirrors a review posted five months ago, suggesting these issues are recurring. Despite informing the clinic via WhatsApp that we were already on the road rushing to the appointment, there was no flexibility. All communication and timestamps are documented. Instead of practical solutions, the responses remained rigid and procedural, showing little understanding of the realities pet owners face. Vital information was not clearly communicated. Pet owners need to anticipate whether procedures will or will not take place, especially when services rely on external vendors. Strict guidelines on vendor operating windows should also be shared upfront, as these details directly affect scheduling and decision-making. During my conversation with Dr Wei, I learned that WhatsApp communications are handled by nurses. This means the information shared should be accurate and clear. Had it been administrative staff without detailed knowledge, some gaps might be understandable. Knowing clinical staff manage these communications makes the lack of clarity even more frustrating. I later spoke directly with Dr Wei, who appears to be associated with clinic management. The conversation was defensive and unproductive, leaving me in an uncomfortable position I did not sign up for. To be clear, this is not criticism of veterinary care itself, but of administration, communication, and empathy. When interactions feel transactional and inflexible, trust breaks down quickly. I want to acknowledge Dr Sara Koh, who has been consistently kind, patient on my past experiences. My dissatisfaction lies with the clinic’s processes, not individual doctors. Based on past responses to Google reviews, I will not engage with any replies, as the tone and defensiveness in those responses suggest further interaction would not be constructive. This experience cost us time, money, effort, and peace of mind. We were forced to seek alternative care. For that reason, I will be bringing my pets to Advanced VetCare, where my experiences have been professional, empathetic, and flexible.

Veterinary consultation fees in Singapore typically range from around S$30 to S$80 for a standard consult, with costs rising depending on the procedures, diagnostics, or treatments required. Additional charges may apply for blood panels, X-rays, vaccinations, prescribed medication, and follow-up visits. Ohana Vet is priced at a mid-range tier, though specific fee schedules are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the clinic before your appointment. For mobile or house-call veterinary services, a travel surcharge is commonly added on top of the consultation fee. Always ask for an itemised estimate before agreeing to any procedure. For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) as well as rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is often required if your dog attends boarding or daycare facilities. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard, with the FeLV vaccine recommended depending on lifestyle and risk exposure. Most vaccination records should be current within the past 12 months. If you are visiting Ohana Vet for a routine vaccination appointment or bringing a new pet, have your pet's existing vaccination booklet or digital records on hand. Contact the clinic directly to confirm which vaccinations are required or recommended for your pet's specific age, breed, and health status.
Veterinary clinics operating in Singapore are regulated by the National Parks Board (NParks) under the Animals and Birds Act, and practising veterinarians must be registered with NParks. Ohana Vet holds KakiList verified status, confirming that operating details have been checked by a real person. However, no regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile, so it is advisable to ask the clinic directly to confirm their NParks registration and the credentials of the attending veterinarians. For boarding services specifically, an AVS (Animal and Veterinary Service) licence is required under Singapore regulations. If you intend to use any boarding facilities, verify that the appropriate licence is in place. Confirm the clinic's protocols for handling medical emergencies or adverse events during any procedure before proceeding. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
