About Osteopathic Treatment Centre
Osteopathic Treatment Centre is a holistic wellness provider based at Orchard Towers, offering osteopathic care to clients across Singapore. The practice holds a 4.5/5 rating across 28 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. No regulatory licence details are currently listed, and prospective clients should confirm the practitioner's registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) or other relevant board before booking.
First-time clients typically begin with an initial consultation where the osteopath takes a full case history, assesses posture, movement, and any presenting musculoskeletal or functional complaints, and agrees on a treatment approach. Osteopathy draws on manual techniques — soft tissue work, joint mobilisation, and cranial or visceral approaches depending on the practitioner's training — and is often sought for back and neck pain, headaches, postural strain, or general wellbeing. Clarify whether you are seeking a single session or an ongoing care plan, ask about the number of sessions typically recommended for your condition, and confirm the cancellation policy before committing.
To take the next step, call or complete the enquiry form on the KakiList listing to check appointment availability and confirm the lead practitioner's qualifications and AHPC registration status before your first visit.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I have seen Dr Tio on and off for 20+ years. Whenever in pain, I sought his help. Usually after one visit, I had great pain relief. After a second and third visit, I was completely pain free and healed for the most part. He’s a wonderful doctor!
The best osteopath I've ever been visited. Dr Tio gets amazing results! Highly recommended.
It's Osteopathic, not Chiropractic. Big difference in treatment appproach :-) Back in 2000, I could barely walk after injuring my back. Hospitals couldn’t fix it for 3 years. I was so miserable. Then I met Dr. Tio, and in just one visit, I was walking again! Turned out, my spine just needed realignment. I learned then that Dr Tio specializes in sports injuries. He has an incredible ability to relieve pain by gentle manipulation of bones, muscles, and nerves. No painkillers, just real results. Since my 1st visit, I now see him regularly for all sorts of issues, and he always gets me back to feeling great in one or two visits. I am over 60 and in great shape. I don't struggle with pain now. Dr Tio takes care of it for me. Dr Tio, I appreciate you :-)
I visited Dr. Tio during one of his visits to Manila, where he was holding sessions in Akesis Center in Quezon City. I had a highly unpleasant experience with Dr. Tio himself. It started as Dr. Tio asked me to lay on my back so he could check my neck. I was admittedly tense coming into the session, as everytime he raised my head to check my neck I couldn’t relax enough and my head would either follow the lifting motion or resist the lifting of Dr. Tio. Dr. Tio quickly became impatient and started muttering “you aren’t letting me help you” and “I don’t want your money if you will keep being like this.” Take note - I very patiently and gently apologized and told him I was making a conscious effort to relax and just to bear with me for a little longer. He asked to take a break and we resumed shortly after, and not even a minute into trying again he got visibly infuriated and asked me to leave because he can’t help me anymore. With my feelings being heightened at the time, I returned to Dr. David and told him I felt he was very rude to me, and he kept muttering the same line of me refusing to let me help him. It hadn’t even been a full 3 minutes inside the room and his demeanor towards me definitely didn’t help me relax either. I am sure he’s a great doctor with great technical skill, but I cannot fathom swearing an oath to better people’s lives and then creating such a hostile environment for his patients. Great doctors aren’t always great people.
Was referred by a friend to come here for my fibromyalgia. I felt so much better after the first few treatments. The staffs are great and dr tio was very knowledgeable. He really helped me with my condition and the amount of migraines i have had reduced significantly. I barely experience migraines and body pain now. Thank you!

Osteopathic Treatment Centre displays a mid-range price indicator ($$), but no specific per-session fee is published. In Singapore, osteopathy and holistic manual therapy consultations typically run S$100–180 for a first session and S$80–150 for follow-ups, with initial sessions running longer due to case history and assessment. Ask whether a package rate is available for multiple sessions, whether there is a separate first-consultation or assessment fee, and what the no-show or late-cancellation charge is before booking. No formal referral is required to book an osteopathic consultation in Singapore, though having a GP referral can be useful if you intend to claim through an integrated shield plan or employer medical benefits — check your policy wording in advance, as most insurers classify osteopathy as complementary therapy and may not reimburse without pre-authorisation. At your first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and the nature of your complaint. Contraindications such as active fractures, certain inflammatory conditions, or recent surgery should be disclosed upfront so the practitioner can adjust the treatment approach. If your condition is complex or involves a recent injury, your GP or specialist may also want to be kept in the loop.
No regulatory licences are currently listed for Osteopathic Treatment Centre on KakiList. Osteopaths in Singapore are not yet regulated under a dedicated statutory board in the same way physiotherapists are under the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), which means practitioners operate without a mandatory public licence register. However, reputable practitioners typically hold a recognised osteopathic degree (a four- or five-year programme from an accredited institution such as the British School of Osteopathy or equivalent) and may hold voluntary membership with the Osteopathic Association of Singapore. Before booking, ask the practitioner directly for their qualifications, training institution, and years of practice. If the provider also offers physiotherapy or any regulated allied health service, verify the individual practitioner's AHPC registration on the AHPC public register at ahpc.edu.sg.
