Our daughter has been with The Schoolhouse by Mount Emily since she was just 2 years old, and watching her grow in this nurturing environment has been one of the greatest joys of our parenting journey. Her form teachers, Ms Yiwen and Lang Laoshi, have played a huge role in helping our daughter truly bloom. They have remained a constant thoughout and with their guidance, she now speaks English confidently and beautifully thanks to Ms Yiwen, and her love for Mandarin is all thanks to Lang Laoshi’s fun, engaging lessons. They’ve both made learning a joy. The school’s play-based curriculum is thoughtful and enriching, with a focus on emotional development and early STEM activities. Direct access to Mount Emily Park means plenty of outdoor exploration and time in nature, something we deeply value. Each term includes exciting excursions, and the recent Family Day was such a well-run, heartwarming event that brought the whole community together. We also appreciate how constructive and honest the parent-teacher feedback is during each conference. It’s helped us navigate the different developmental stages with greater understanding and confidence. A special mention must go to Ms JiaFeng, the hardworking and hands-on principal who always ensures that the children’s well-being comes first. It will be a bittersweet moment when our daughter graduates from The Schoolhouse. This place has been such a big part of her early years, and we’re endlessly grateful. We cannot recommend it highly enough to any parent seeking a warm, balanced, and nature-rich start for their little one.
I absolutely love this school. The facilities are a dream (garden to learn about the nature, pool for water play, parc nearby, ...); the staff is lovely and caring; the curriculum is engaging, diverse and fun. They organise a lot of activities for the kids and involve the parents. I can only recommend it.
Your child will have a fantastic time at Pat's Mount Emily. Our experience with both kids has been incredible. The management and teachers are always welcoming the kids with a heartedly smile and make their best efforts not only to educate and care for the kids but also offer kindness above and beyond their scope of work. The school has many unique facilities that add up to the excitement at school; the veggie garden, sandpit, pool, in-house kitchen, live animal tank etc. You can expect a perfect mix of outdoor and indoor activities for your child that is filled with joy and learning opportunities.
My 3 kids loved the time 🕰️ in school and asked to be in school 🏫 early indicated the teachers are doing things right. Many thanks 🙏 teachers 👨🏫

Pat's Schoolhouse is listed at the mid-range ($$) price tier, with fees charged on a monthly recurring basis. For infant care in Singapore, market rates typically run from around S$1,500 to S$2,800 per month before subsidies, depending on the centre, hours of care, and whether full-day or half-day enrolment applies. Contact the centre directly for their current fee schedule. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about a one-time registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any additional charges for uniforms or insurance. Childcare and infant care fees are GST-exempt in Singapore, so the quoted monthly amount should be the amount you pay. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed infant care centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month for infant care. Working mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may additionally claim the Working Mother's Child Development Grant component through the Working Mother Subsidy scheme. Families with a gross monthly household income below S$12,000 may also be eligible for the Additional Subsidy, which is income-tested and can bring total combined support up to approximately S$710 per month. Permanent Resident children receive partial subsidies at lower quantum. KiFAS applies specifically to kindergarten programmes rather than infant care. Subsidy amounts are set by ECDA and are subject to change, so check the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making any financial plans. Note that subsidies are only disbursed at ECDA-licensed centres. Confirm the centre's licence status with ECDA directly, as no regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile.
Infant care places in Singapore are in high demand and popular centres can have waitlists extending three to twelve months ahead of the intended start date. The January intake is typically the most competitive, as it aligns with the start of the school year, but families often begin enquiring as early as the second trimester of pregnancy. To secure a place, centres usually require a registration fee and a deposit, so it is worth contacting Pat's Schoolhouse as early as possible to understand their current availability and the steps needed to reserve a slot. Ask specifically whether there is a formal waitlist, how positions on it are managed, and what the expected lead time is for your child's intended start month. Reach out via phone or the enquiry form on this listing to get an up-to-date picture of vacancy.
