About Pawdy House

About Pawdy House

Pawdy House is a pet grooming provider operating islandwide from its premises at 263 Compassvale Street, Sengkang, and is both KakiList verified and ACRA registered. It holds a Google rating of 4.4 out of 5 across 34 reviews, a moderate sample that gives a reasonable directional indication of service quality. Pricing sits in the mid-range tier, though exact rates should be confirmed directly with the provider.

When getting in touch, it helps to have your pet's size, breed, coat type, and temperament ready, as these factors typically influence the grooming package recommended and the time required. Vaccination records — particularly for dogs and cats — are commonly requested before a first appointment, so have those to hand. If your pet is anxious around new environments or other animals, mention this upfront so the groomer can make appropriate arrangements. You can reach Pawdy House via WhatsApp, phone, or their online enquiry form to discuss your pet's needs, ask about available slots, and find out whether a trial visit can be arranged to help your pet settle in gradually. For owners who prefer regularity, it is worth asking about recurring grooming schedules.

To take the next step, send Pawdy House a WhatsApp message with your pet's breed, size, and any specific grooming requirements to receive a quote and confirm your first appointment.

Very nice pet shop and groomer in the neighborhood. 1st time sending our pup here for grooming and I must say they really really did a great job. Our gal has become so pretty with her new cut. They also handle ur doggies with utmost care and gentle. Will return for sure and recommend.

Note: I waited until my fur baby went for grooming at another groomer before writing this review to be fair to Pawdy House. I was recommended to Pawdy House last July by a friend. Since it was near my house, I decided to give it a try. My daughter brought her there as I was working. When I got home, I messaged them to inform them that her fur was still uneven. The picture on the left was taken after grooming—she looked like she hadn't been groomed at all! (Pic on the left) They told me to bring her back, and they would "fix it" for me. I brought her back the next day. The first thing Ah Rong said was, "What is it that you are not satisfied with?" I was shocked! I asked her if she thought my fur baby looked okay, and she said yes. She wasn’t the one who had groomed her, though. She explained that my fur baby's fur was very soft, so I couldn't expect a bear cut. I told her I didn’t expect that, but at the very least, she should look neat. The fur around her ears and paws was still uneven, and some of her nails were still long. She then said that if I wanted her to look neat, she would have to shave her bald! Omg! If I wanted her bald, I could have done it myself! She also mentioned that she could cut the nails shorter, but they would bleed. If I wanted, she could do it! Wah!!! Seriously, I was holding back from scolding her. What kind of attitude was that? I had been speaking nicely all this time, and even my daughter asked why I didn’t scold her for being so rude. I didn’t want to scare my fur baby. Today, I took her to another groomer, and he asked how I wanted her groomed. I told him, "Short and neat—possible?" He asked if 13mm was okay and assured me he would take care of the rest. I was so happy when I picked her up—she looked so pretty! (Pic on the right) Unlike what I was previously told, she can have short and neat fur without being shaved bald! And for the first time in over two years since we've had her, my husband commented on how pretty she looked after her grooming today! Her nails were also trimmed short and neat. See last picture how evenly trimmed her fur is! So yes, I waited until now to write this review. If today's groomer had also told me that her fur was too soft to be cut short and neat, I would have accepted what Pawdy House did and not written this review.

This groomer (Ah Rong) is truly exceptional! Even our timid dogs, who have always been anxious during nail-trimming, were handled with such care and skill that it was a pleasant surprise. Unlike previous experiences where I was told that some level of force was necessary, this groomer's approach was a breath of fresh air. Her patience was remarkable as she tried various techniques, including hugging and allowing my dog to lean on her, to complete the trimming session without any violence. They are also operating a very honest business. As my dog is chunky, I usually make appointments stating her size as a large breed and was already prepared to pay for basic grooming for large breeds. Yet, they charged her as a Medium size since she supposedly belongs to the Medium size group. I really appreciate their integrity in this matter. I live quite a distance from them, but I would totally go back to them for all future grooming sessions! Thank you very much!

The staff there aren't very friendly to customers, which I think is mostly because of how of the long queues are. They've got some rules set up, and it looks like you'll be waiting around a month for an appointment. First off, you have to put down a $50 deposit for your appointment, and you won't get it back if you're more than 10 minutes late. Then, they'll text you when the grooming is done and expect you to pick it up pretty quickly, otherwise, they'll get annoyed. I guess it's the only grooming place in the neighborhood, so they're swamped with people, and that's probably why they've recently hiked up their prices. Hopefully, they'll read this and realize that businesses can't keep going like this forever, and eventually, competition will show up.

Groomer was very nice, patient and generous. As my dog has anal glands that requires expression every 3 weeks, groomer even offered to teach me how to get it done myself since the frequency is so high. Prices are reasonable and service excellent.
