Brought 2 of my poms in and admitted one of them for a day observation. The entire process felt assuring and Dr Ng was really thorough when it came to my dog’s check. It was our 5th Vet visit for the week and we finally found someone that could address Yimi’s condition and made her feel more comfortable with her situation. Our usual vet was not around so we chanced upon Paws and Claws. We are definitely lucky to have met a team that is responsive and a doctor who was quick to point out issues and started treatment to get yimi’s poop out to ease her bad bloated tummy. It is not easy to find a good vet and a great team altogether and I am thankful to have found a place nearer to my home too! Thank you to all of you who took great care of Yimi during her day observation!

Dr. Esther and her team have been amazing and empathetic — her prompt calls and clear next steps made us feel reassured during a very stressful time. a big shout out to Hannah, Pei Ying, Sher How & Vincent who coordinated closely in rotating shifts to monitor Cloudie and kept us updated when we couldn’t be there. and to the rest of the team behind the scenes who answered all our questions with patience and expertise. i simply can’t thank them enough. We truly appreciate the dedication and professionalism of the entire team❤️

Made & confirmed an appointment at Sin Ming branch for a dental scaling a month out, but the reminder the day before re-directed us to their Yishun outlet instead - we misread the reminder and ended up wasting a trip down to the Sin Ming branch. They reschedule us fairly soon - so no harm, just be mindful when reading their reminders. On the day itself, Dr Denise was very patient and detailed. It's obvious she loves the pets. We are very appreciative. It didn't feel rushed even though there was a line outside. Kobe's procedure was delayed due to other emergency surgeries, and the team kept us updated as best they could. The prices are reasonable, and Dr Denise was upfront with it. They are popular, so have to be patient where possible. The team who explained the medications and how to continue aftercare for Kobe was also patient. The team in general responds fairly quickly from enquiries over WhatsApp as well.

I can feel the genuine care and concern for all pets here. The nurses, especially Pei Ying kept a close follow up even days after my pet rat, who underwent a small surgery, went home. I’m very grateful for the love shown to a small rat during his stay there and suspect he misses the team there!

Paws N' Claws Veterinary Surgery is priced at the mid-range tier ($$), but specific consultation and treatment fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the clinic. In Singapore, a standard veterinary consultation typically ranges from S$30 to S$80, with additional charges for diagnostics such as blood panels, X-rays, or ultrasounds. Surgical procedures, dental scaling, and specialist referrals will carry their own pricing. It is worth asking for an itemised estimate before proceeding with any treatment, particularly for non-emergency procedures. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

What vaccinations does "Paws N' Claws Veterinary Surgery" require?

For dogs, core vaccinations in Singapore include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies, which is compulsory under AVS regulations. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is frequently required if your dog attends boarding or daycare facilities. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard, along with rabies. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current, typically within the past 12 months, and you should bring the original certificate or a copy to your appointment. If your pet's records are incomplete or lapsed, the clinic can advise on a catch-up schedule. Contact Paws N' Claws Veterinary Surgery directly to confirm which vaccination records are required for your specific pet and the type of service you are booking.

Is "Paws N' Claws Veterinary Surgery" licensed and insured?

Paws N' Claws Veterinary Surgery is verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed the clinic's operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a strong Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 across 326 reviews, which is a robust sample. However, no regulatory licences are currently listed in the KakiList record, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed through this listing. In Singapore, veterinary practices are regulated by the Singapore Veterinary Association and must employ registered veterinary surgeons licensed under the Veterinary and Agri-food Authority (AVS). Boarding facilities specifically require an AVS boarding licence. It is advisable to ask the clinic directly about their veterinary surgeons' registration status and whether the practice holds relevant AVS approvals for the services you require. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
