SSIC Review I attended shipyard safety induction course on Friday 22 March 2019. The reminder confirmation email was received one day before the actual date mentioned of 8am to 6pm at Pekso Engineering. I arrived Pekso Engineering 25min earlier at 7.35am in the morning. There were a lot of people wandering around as the office was not opened yet. The office opened at 8.00am. There was a white board infront of the main entrance of the left Pekso Engineering building. The white board was pasted with all the classroom details with your name on it (make sure you know which classroom to go. Around 8am, we are allowed to entered the building using the side door which has direct access to all the classrooms. My room is located at the second floor. there is a water dispenser in the end of the room , next to the toilets. You may refill your water, and wait for the trainer to come in your designated room. The trainer arrive at 8.27am. He distributed books to us and we started our training. In between the trainings, there are quite a lot of breaks. So you could consider to bring your stuffs to work on. And, it is slightly cold, bring jacket. About 4.30pm, there will be an exam. 40 MCQ. Around 5.00pm, i finished my exam. I need wait for other to complete and then, they will mark the exam, and print the card for us. Around 6.20pm, I am all done and ready to go. Overall rating for this SSIC course is about 2 stars. If you have the textbook, you could read everything yourself.
