When booking a grooming appointment, it helps to have your pet's size, breed, and coat type to hand, as these factors typically affect the session fee. Bring along up-to-date vaccination records, as reputable grooming providers in Singapore generally require proof of current vaccinations before accepting a pet. If your dog or cat has particular temperament sensitivities — such as anxiety around water or unfamiliar handling — mention this at the point of enquiry so the groomer can prepare accordingly. For ongoing care, ask about recurring appointment schedules to maintain coat and skin health between visits.
To get started, contact Pet Lovers Centre directly via phone or the enquiry form to confirm appointment availability, discuss your pet's specific requirements, and ask about current grooming packages and any applicable add-ons.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
Been to this outlet 2x, 1st time a lady staff was laughing & talking very loudly w a man & lady. Never encounter before at any pet shops, quite shocked. 2nd time, met a young Indian man. Hes very polite and attentive to customers. When I couldn't decide what brands of dog food to buy, he didn't give any advice that he cannot be responsible for. Instead he gave me samples & didn't hardsell. Appreciate his professionalism.

I always can't stand your system ,i went to bugis junction outlet ,buy shampoo for my cat is only $10,when i mention i will pay cash ,staff told me press the button ,i tell her i don't want press anything ,she say if not press she can't open till and change money,is it your always force customer to do?We have the choice of whether to press it or not, not that we have to press it! Pet owners, please be aware. I bought a carrier from Pet Lovers Centre based on their claim that it “meets IATA standards” and is meant for air travel. The carrier I received does not meet IATA requirements. No airline will approve it, and using an incorrect carrier can create unnecessary risks for animals traveling by plane. Even though the product was unused and the issue was with their description, Pet Lovers Centre refused to issue a refund. I’m sharing my experience so others won’t run into the same problem. Our pets’ safety shouldn’t depend on fine print. These guys don't care about your pet - all they care about is money.

Grooming fees at Pet Lovers Centre are priced at the mid-range ($$) level, though exact figures are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly. In Singapore, grooming rates typically vary by pet size, breed, and coat condition — a small dog or cat generally costs less than a large or double-coated breed. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning are usually priced separately on top of the base grooming fee. If you have a mobile or home-visit grooming need, note that transport fees may apply depending on the provider's offering. Always confirm the full itemised cost before the appointment to avoid surprises. See the full pet grooming cost guide for Singapore →
Most grooming providers in Singapore require dogs to be current on their DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies vaccinations, typically within the past 12 months. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) vaccination is the standard requirement. Some facilities also ask for bordetella (kennel cough) protection, particularly if your pet will be around other animals. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate to your appointment. If records are not current, schedule a vet visit before booking the grooming session, as providers may turn away unvaccinated pets to protect all animals on the premises. Contact Pet Lovers Centre directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before your first visit.
Pet Lovers Centre is ACRA-registered and has been verified by KakiList, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been checked by a real person. In Singapore, grooming facilities are not subject to mandatory AVS licensing in the same way that boarding establishments are, so the absence of a listed AVS licence does not automatically indicate a concern for a grooming-only service. That said, it is always sensible to ask the provider directly about their insurance arrangements — specifically whether they carry cover for accidental injury or adverse reactions during a grooming session. Confirm what their protocol is should your pet become unwell or distressed while in their care. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
