I took my dog to Petizen for a grooming session, and the service exceeded my expectations! The staff was warm and welcoming, making both me and my pup feel at ease. They did a fantastic job with the grooming—my dog came out looking and smelling amazing. The attention to detail was impressive, and I loved that they offered a free treat (a whole box of freeze-dried chicken sticks with fish oil)! My dog love the free treat very much!! I highly recommend Petizen for anyone seeking quality grooming services!

I recently took my dog - Xiaohei to Petizen, and I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. During my visit, I requested a routine nail trim for my dog, which should have been a straightforward procedure. However, when I picked up my pet, I noticed that something was wrong; there was blood on her paws that hadn’t been cleaned. It was only after my own examination that I discovered the staff had trimmed her nails too short, causing them to bleed. What was even more alarming is that I received no prior notification or explanation from the groomers about what had happened. No one took the time to inform me, which left me feeling not only frustrated but also worried about my dog’s well-being. As a pet owner, it is incredibly disheartening to realize that the people I trusted with my dog’s care failed to communicate such a serious issue. To compound matters, the overall reply text message from shop was not professional, instead they blame my dog for being aggressive while the CCTV shown by them show no aggressiveness. I have not demand any compensation. I sensed a lack of professionalism among the staff. The grooming process seemed rushed, and there was little attention to detail or care about handling pets safely and humanely. I was left feeling that my dog's comfort and safety were not prioritized during her visit. I hope this review serves as a warning to other pet owners. I will not be returning to shop and will be sharing my experience with friends and family to ensure they think twice before trusting their pets with this establishment. It’s crucial that pet groomers handle the animals in their care with respect and care, and unfortunately, this shop fell drastically short of that standard.

I’ve taken my cat to other pet grooming salons before, but none of them worked—except for Petizen! They have a dedicated grooming and bathing space just for cats, which made a huge difference. The environment is exceptionally clean and hygienic, and the staff are not only highly professional but also super friendly. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable! From now on, I’ll only trust Petizen for my cat’s grooming needs!

Brought my boy on 17 Nov for basic grooming session & we had a wonderful experience with Petizen! The groomers were warm and welcoming, makes this sudden visitation (without prior booking) a good experience. My boy came out neat, tidy, soft-fluffy, smells great & very happy! Highly recommended! Update: Revisited on the next Sunday & tried out the 854 Premium Grooming. It’s Wednesday when leaving this review & my boy is still smelling great!

Very good experience! We’ve visited twice at this newly opened grooming place already! My fur baby becomes super soft fluffy and sweet after the premium grooming session. Recommend to give it a try!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Petizen Pet Grooming Salon charge?

Petizen Pet Grooming Salon is priced in the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session rates are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the salon. In Singapore, grooming prices typically vary based on the pet's size, breed, and coat condition. Smaller breeds or short-coated dogs generally attract lower base rates, while larger breeds or those with thick, matted, or double coats are usually charged more. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth cleaning, nail grinding, and ear cleaning are commonly priced separately. For mobile or transport-assisted grooming, an additional transport fee may apply depending on your location. It is advisable to clarify the full breakdown — including any surcharges for difficult temperaments or heavily matted coats — before confirming your booking. What vaccinations does Petizen Pet Grooming Salon require?

Most professional grooming salons in Singapore require pets to be up to date on core vaccinations before they can be admitted, in order to protect all animals on the premises. For dogs, this typically means the DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) combination vaccine and rabies, with proof of vaccination usually expected to be current within the past 12 months. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine covering feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia is the standard requirement. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly required at facilities where animals may be in close proximity to one another. You should bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a copy of the relevant records when attending your first appointment. Contact Petizen Pet Grooming Salon directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy before your visit.

Is Petizen Pet Grooming Salon licensed and insured?

Petizen Pet Grooming Salon is KakiList verified and ACRA registered, which confirms that operating details have been reviewed and that the business is recorded on Singapore's official commercial registry. For pet grooming salons, licensing under the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) of the National Parks Board applies primarily to facilities offering boarding; grooming-only operations are not subject to the same mandatory AVS licensing requirement, though responsible operators are expected to follow AVS animal welfare guidelines. Regarding insurance, coverage for incidents such as accidental injury, adverse reactions to grooming products, or a pet becoming unwell during a session varies between providers and is not universally mandated. It is worth asking Petizen Pet Grooming Salon directly about their protocols if a pet is injured or falls ill in their care, and whether any form of liability cover is in place. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
